L'Orangerie du Grand Jardin

The property is so peaceful and spacious. It really gave us the Normandy countryside experience we were hoping for. The whole property is well maintained. The sound of birds can be heard constantly and it’s really nice. Claudia is so kind and welcoming. She is proud of L’orangerie and shares its history with you. Communication is fantastic. We would 100% stay here again. I usually don’t spend much time in my hotel on a trip, but we loved spending time at “home” and even preferred to come back and cook rather than eat out just to utilize the wonderful backyard.

Everything! Claudia was an amazing host and told us the history of the castle.

Gorgeous setting, lovely hosts. stunning part of the world. The living room/dining area is spacious and pretty. We had everything we needed to make dinner in the evenings. There isn't anywhere to buy food locally so you need to be organised. Good sized bathrooms and comfortable beds. It was an ideal base for our purpose of visiting WWII beaches, museums and cemeteries. The hostess is charming and very helpful.
