The Red Lion Inn

I knew when I made this booking what I was getting. It did not disappoint. Everything was as described. It took me back to the Army days, except this was a luxury Army Quonset Hut, and the toilet and shower were in the same building. The staff was good. The younger lady I had for the room cleaning for the first few days was amazing. She tidied up my room. She's wife material! Overall, it's not for the hotel; it's for the location. The food was ok. I wouldn't have the fish or burger there again. The Pizza from their expansion, the barns were ok, I would buy one again. I would stay there again. You just have to remember it's not a real hotel, it's a room above a bar.

Rooms: Small rooms with the toilet and shower down the hall. The internet was missing frequently. Also loud. This was exactly as described before booking. Internet could be fixed today if they wanted to. Food and drinks 3 stars. They can make it almost 5 stars. They need to copy the local fish vendors in town. The burgers, they could make them with fresh ground beef, not premade patties. Need a real Bloody Mary recipe with the fixings of the Wisconsin salad.

The door keys to room 7 did not work well. It was difficult to unlock the door and also the toilet especial when you were in a hurry! 🤣

Location of hotel….good food,nice bar area

The room….no headboard,very sad pillows,strange largely unusable wardrobe thing….only good for hanging….the shelves needed a bottom to be able to place items on,broken shelf in bathroom so also unusable

It was located at n a good area.

The lighting in the room was dark chewing gum stuck under bed side table.
