The bedroom was quiet, bed comfortable. The bar area was nice
There was heavy dust on the towel rail. The kettle wouldn’t switch off. The katsu chicken was inedible, the waitress agreed and I had a Greek salad instead. I felt the chairs in the restaurant were too low for the tables. I didn’t like the odd taste of them mushrooms.

Great location for the nearby car event we were attending + good parking for classic cars + wonderful having a swimming pool. We dined in the restaurant the evening before and it had a fun atmosphere + good breakfast in the morning. All very relaxing and off the beaten track!

Breakfast was good. Staff friendly, bar area nice. Grounds were lovely. Excellent veggie rissotto
Coffee. No tissues other than loo roll in room. No glasses and bottle of water. No conditioner, no bath. Nothing for the dog, not a single thing . Made it feel very basic, rather than a special stay. Rooms a bit drab.
