The Sari Bungalows

I booked for two nights and stayed for seven. This is a really nice place to stay. Nice large rooms with mozzie net around bed. Staff bring a lit mozzie coil to put outside your room at night. Lovely crisp cotton sheets on the bed. The room is cleaned every day and complimonottles of water left. There. Is also a small kitchen with fridge to use and freezer water bottle refills. The swimming pool is lovely. A really nice size with sunbeds at one end.A huge choice for breakfast. Some photos of the traditional meals may have been good, as may have been tempted. This is in a great location as just a 100 metres from the main road so lovely and quiet. The complex is divided in two parts, one where accommodation around the pool and the other where you have a lovely garden in front with tables and chairs under a shady roof and sunbeds for relaxing. A really nice outlook and the little lit lanterns at night add to the attraction. Apart from not being very far from the beach and snorkeling area there are some realy rnice walks in the other direction into the mountains. Looking up the little lane from Sari you can see a temple on a hill just beneath the mountains. This is a very easy walk. Just walk to the end of the lane and turn left, Go a. Few hundred metres until seeing a track off to your right. There is a small faded parasol on the right hand side of start of path. Go to the very end where it comes out I to a clearing. Turn to your right and just a little way over you will see the steps and path to climb to the temple. You can come back the same way or do a circle and come down the other side of two red and white flags. Many walks to explore in this are though. Also nice walk to Monkey Temple and beyond. Several more on a road on the right after this. Also from the snorkelling beach are you can walk along and find a route to a temple on a hill behind and can continue to Romantic beach and beyonds. There is just so much to see and do in this area. A week is not enough.

Room was very clean, and outdoor bathroom was cute! We went in the rainy season so pretty much had the pool to ourselves. Lots of options for breakfast and laundry was fast and very good.

Mosquito net didn't cover the whole bed, not too much of a problem but there were lots of mosquitos around the area (rainy season). Also the light in our outdoor bathroom didn't work so used torches at night. We didn't complain about this though, I'm sure if we had they would have accommodated us very fast!

Cute rooms, outside shower is great. Breakfast was good. Laundry done quickly. The staff was super happy to help. It also has a mini market where you can buy things. Nice looking pool with fountain. I didn't have enough time to enjoy it but it was relaxing to have it.

Got a visit from a mouse. The staff changed my room immediately. Nice!
