The best thing about this property is the family who owns it. They make their guests feel at home, like you are a guest not only of their house but of their family. This gives a traveller the most authentic experience of the country and its people, much better than a luxury hotel would. Their cleaner is also lovely and friendly, and it makes a difference to a stay when a flat is cleaned daily. The sea view is quite good too. The owners offered us to use their umbrella for the days when we weren’t renting a sunbed on the beach and organised taxis for us, which is much appreciated. Slavica made a few treats for us 3-4 times during our stay, and even gave money for a present for my child. Andrei kindly took me to the market and even reminded us of the closures on Sunday. Both of them are kind and lovely people.

Firstly, if you’ve got a small child and a pram, Sveti Stefan is probably not the right place to go as - unlike Budva - it is located on a mountain, ie a lot of steps and hardly any pavement. So, you end up walking with a pram on the road with cars. It’s very stressful, as I was on high alert all the way to and from the beach. Plus it was hard to carry things up and down the stairs. As for the property, as there was a heatwave, we found it hard to sleep in the bedrooms. The air conditioner is only in the kitchen with not much of cool air reaching the bedrooms. I think the best place to come here would be in September or in summers when the temperature is below +30. As the heatwaves are more regular now, perhaps the owners should consider installing another air conditioner that would reach into the bedrooms. Also, the living room/corridor has a door with glass panels, they are not see-through, but the light from the corridor gets in, so when I tried sleeping in the corridor after I found it hard to sleep in the bedroom I was then woken up by people switching the light on in the main hall… Plus there was a lot of noise one night coming from the upstairs flat (just for one night, luckily), but then it could happen anywhere. What is disappointing though is that I felt a subtle change of vibe straight after I complained about all of the above, which is a shame, as it wasn’t personal. Especially about the sleeping. Having paid the money, I had the right to sleep in decent conditions. The pillow in my bedroom was also very hard and uncomfortable and the smell in the bathroom was tolerable but unpleasant(I’ve noticed other people here made a comment about these things too). I hope the owners take the criticism constructively and implement changes instead of taking offence. The last thing I want is to offend them because they are lovely people and very kind.

Objekat je prelep, apartman čist i uredan. Svaki dan se sprema. Milena, Andrej i Slavica su odlični domaćini i uvek spremni da izađu u susret. Pogled na more je vrhunski. Parking odmah ispred apartmana. Sve pohvale 👏
