A quiet place in nature

A place in the middle of the nature, very quiet and peaceful. The apartment was modern, big and airy. The host was very friendly and ready to help us with anything. Everything was really good. And this place was close to Dordrecht (a beautiful old city) and Rotterdam.

Exceptional Stay

After spending a lovely weekend at B&B, I can confidently say that it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. From the warm welcome we received upon arrival to the comfortable and cozy room, we felt right at home during our stay. The attention to detail in every aspect of our stay was remarkable. The room was impeccably clean and well-appointed, with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep. The breakfast each morning was a highlight of our stay. The B&B's staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure that all of our needs were met. The location of the B&B was also a major plus. We were able to easily explore the surrounding area, taking in the beautiful scenery and local attractions. The B&B's staff had plenty of recommendations for things to do in the area, which we greatly appreciated. Overall, our stay at B&Bwas truly exceptional. The attention to detail, comfortable accommodations, and delicious breakfast made for a memorable weekend. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Thank you to the owners for an outstanding experience!

Warm, friendly hospitality.

Ed could not have done more to accommodate and help us - fabulously hospitable and kind. Beautiful, tranquil location, fabulous for us and for cycling. From being ill-prepared on a Sunday evening arrival we had tins of soup, Ed found us bread; and desperate for a gin and tonic, Ed found us ice!! When we had bike issues, Ed found us a bike shop that was open. On departure we wanted to head to Dordrecht, Ed found us parking to accommodate the van and pointed us in the right direction for eateries/cafes - (thank you too, to Finns for their hospitality/Dutch lesson, over coffee and hot chocolate!!) Thank you too, for wonderful evening at Blaak's restaurant, a stroll away, food and hospitality so good. Thank you to Ed and Mrs Ed! :-)

Bigger coffee mugs (but I really am being picky here)! And if I had asked Ed I imagine he would have conjured some up!

The property is absolutely fantastic! All one level - which was perfect for me as a disabled traveller with limited mobility. Set in very tranquil grounds, with excellent parking facilities. Just the right size for myself and my daughter. Very comfortable furniture and beds, amazing shower, and a very welcome coffee machine in the kitchen area. The whole of our property was very clean and neat and tidy, with everything we needed for our stay. The open space outside was in abundance, and we often sat with the doors open, just listening to the sounds of the country around us, and watching the wildlife in the trees. The peace and quiet actually kept us at the property, as opposed to going off travelling around Holland. Our hosts were lovely, warm people who greeted us with smiles and open arms. We felt so comfortable and ‘at home’ at Oostzomerland with Ed and Anja, and nothing was too much trouble for them. We had asked for a couple of things, which were provided straight away. Fresh, hot bread rolls and a snack packet such as scones, were provided every morning - along with boiled eggs one day - also with ham, cheeses, jam and juice which were in the fridge when we arrived. We felt very happy to have such a nice meal to start the day! We really had such a lovely experience at the B&B - I would recommend the property for a short or long stay. In hindsight, I honestly wish we had booked to stay for longer than 4 days at Oostzomerland, and do hope to return in the future for another trip.

There was nothing we didn’t like, we had a great time and wouldn’t have wanted anything to be different.

Great place to relax

Very friendly host. Nice and quiet location. Clean and spacy accomodation. Separate bedroom with small but comfortable ensuite bathroom. Parking is behind a locked gate; you can come and go by entering a code. Very large garden. Excellent breakfast: orange juice, milk, apple, meat/cheese/... are in the fridge; freshly baked bread and boiled egg is delivered to your door at a time of your own choosing. A fan is provided to keep the air moving: much appreciated during 30+ degrees temperatures.

Fly screens for the windows to keep the bugs/mosquitos out would have been nice.

Helemaal super!

Het was een fijn huisje, genoeg privacy en wij konden doen wat in onze planning was. Goede faciliteiten, de auto kon achter het hek staan en dit was ook heel fijn. Al met al een fijn verblijf gehad!

Alleen de wifi werkte niet helemaal, maar dit was voor ons niet echt een probleem. Meneer had ons goed geholpen om het proberen op te lossen.

El lugar es maravilloso, muy tranquilo y con terraza y zonas verdes donde descasamos muy bien. Fácil acceso desde carretera. Buena comunicación con los dueños. El apartamento estaba bien de tamaño con todo lo necesario y puedes dejar el coche en la puerta.

Mooi compleet en schoon 2p appartement

2 persoons appartement waar niks aan ontbrak. Super schoon. Eigen ingang en buitenzitje. Vriendelijke gastheer en gastvrouw. Net afgesloten erf met parkeergelegenheid. Duurzaam afval scheiden. Iets verder van de B&B leuk buitengebied van de Hoeksche Waard.

Netjes, goed verzorgd

Volgens boeking.com was dit een rolstoeltoegankelijke huisje en dat was niet zo. Te hoge drempels, badkamer te klein en niet geschikt voor rolstoelgebruikers.

Appartement mit einigen Abstrichen

Die Vermieter waren überaus freundlich und halfen mit vielen guten Tipps für Ausflüge u.ä. Es gab einen hübschen Garten und die Unterkunft war sehr sauber.

Leider lag das Appartement nicht im reizvollen Ort Mijnsheerenland sondern in dem eher unspektakulären Ort Heinenoord in einer wenig attraktiven Landschaft. Die Küche war schlecht ausgestattet. Es gab nur ganz wenig Geschirr und zum Kochen eine völlig zerkratzte Pfanne und nur einen Topf.

Nos hizo pagar más por una persona más que estaba con nosotros solos estuvo una tarde, nos hizo pagar 100 € demás y encima nos tenía vigilados y vino a picarnos para que bajáramos la calefacción, mientras que en Holanda hacía mucho frío
