The location was fantastic, full access to the beach, grass parking for your scooter at the top of the resort and a stones throw from 7-11, and chilled bars. I’m not great with insects, and thankfully my seaview room was spotless and had no scares 😂. Everyone in the resort was super friendly, and the bar is a great place to unwind after a days scuba.

Absolutely Perfect

We’ve just returned from our second stay at Thai House Beach Resort in Koh Lanta and it was every bit as perfect as the first time. Kim, the owner, is absolutely amazing – so warm, attentive and always on hand to help with anything, from local tips to booking tours. You really feel genuinely looked after here, like part of the family rather than just another guest. Our room was perfect: clean, comfortable and just a few steps from the beach, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The whole resort has such a laid-back, friendly vibe, with lush gardens and the sound of the sea never far away. It’s the kind of place where you instantly relax the moment you arrive. The Turtle restaurant on the beach was outstanding – great food, cocktails and sunsets that were simply unforgettable. Every meal felt like a treat, and the staff were just as lovely as everyone else at the resort. For us this place is a 10 out of 10 and that’s exactly why we came back. If you’re visiting Koh Lanta, do yourself a favour and stay at Thai House Beach Resort – you won’t regret it

Great location Kim the owner had some great advice on the area And Bike hire which we used to get about Turtle restaurant on site great food and great host Pelle Sanctuary bar next door for a night cap🤔

Perfect position, good value and lovely staff - we had all we needed!

Our room had no AC which was what we had selected, but we had all we needed. The guesthouse is brilliantly positioned and is also very close to the delicious tiny family restaurant called Jamrat! The staff was very helpful and available too. It was good value!

It is close to the beach and to some shops and restaurants. Nice staff.

Wifi didn’t work in the room, only at the restaurant. The daily cleanings during our stay of the room were not good, they only made the bed and said they cleaned it.

Welcoming staff, cosy bungalow close to a lovely beach!

Kim was very welcoming and lovely! Always chatty and happy to help. Bungalow was cute and tucked away under the greenery close to the beach. The beach was literally 10 seconds walk away and very quiet and a beautiful view out to koh phi phi.

Small issue with mosquitos first day but this went away and didnt cause any further issues. Couldnt get the aircon going so had to ask staff to come help, if this could of been done prior that wouldve been great but it was quickly resolved.

Superb

It's literally on the beach and super chilled and quiet. We loved the bungalow, it had all the amenities for a family of 4. The beach is beautiful and not crowded at all, one of our favourites in Thailand. There's a beach bar and Thai massage available, definitely recommend. Breakfast is not included but there's a 7/11 next door. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful week of beach, reading, and eating!

First of all, Kim upgraded us to a bigger room with AC at no charge. She is incredibly kind and she and Nee will do anything they can to make your stay more enjoyable. The beach was beautiful and uncrowded which was so nice after Phuket. We were lucky to be there on New Year's Eve for a really fun night of a fire show, dancing, and just hanging out with lots of folks. The resort restaurant was good and every restaurant we tried along the street was very good also. Plus, the room was cleaned every day. We just enjoyed the downscale charm and being so close (less than a minute) from the beach.

It would be nice to have more lounge chairs for guests of the Thai House Beach Resort. Potential guests should know that the bungalows are pretty basic with no cooking facilities.

Great location, very peaceful vibe, great staff and Kim was amazing at helping me organise onward journeys etc and making me feel at home. Great bar and restaurant next door and right on the beach. Would definitely return.

Great experience next to the beach in Koh Lanta

We had a great time at Thai House Beach Resort, the location was great next to Long Beach, and the restaurant the Fat Turtle is the best of the beach. Everybody was welcoming and available to help us organise our stay. We had a great experience and we recommend this hotel for your stay in Koh Lanta.

The staff and owner go the extra mile to make sure you’re comfortable and help with bookings (eg day trips, other transport)and recommendations for local spots (food, yoga etc). The bathroom was always wet and did not dry, because of that there was always a bad smell and towels etc gets immediately that smell. Also there was no hot water in the shower. We had booked a fan room but got a air con bungalow (which was made for ac and not fans and in that way had no airflow). they took away the air con controller and wanted us to pay 200. bhat more. The beach is directly at the property, but you can not swim there because there are a lot of jellyfish. Would not stay here again.

all you need for a beachside holiday

We had the front room looking into the ocean and restaurant. This maybe not private enough for some but we loved it. A nice tabby cat came to visit us for the four nights we stayed and we became close friends. The room itself is very straight and simple. No frills. But good enough for a non-complicated beachside holiday. The manager was very sweet. And helpful. As you can see in the photos, she wrote to us explaining the check

We chose this condo to Celebrate Songkran 2022 because it was right on the beach. Little did we know, that the venue next door called Sanctuary, had an all night rave party going on with super loud music. Kim, the kindly manager, organised another room for us a long way from the noise and we sleep peacefully. PS The Google map will take you to the property next door. So all you need to do is get off at the 7-11 and walk down the right hand side alleyway. Or you can drive down to the car park.

Exceptional

Where do we start! Cannot fault this place at all. On arrival, we were greeted by the manager Kim, whom made us feel immediately at home. Kim and her fellow colleague Ni, couldn't do enough for us. We initially booked for 3 nights but decided to stay an extra week! We firmly fell in love with the place and just didnt want to leave. Our bungalow was large, comfortable and clean with plenty of areas to hang our things.... which is often lacked in other accommodation we've stayed in making it difficult to unpack properly and feel comfortable. The aircon worked really well and cooled down the room very quickly... much needed in April! The garden areas were kept immaculate with very friendly gardeners keeping on top of it daily. The Fat Turtle bar and restaurant on site was fantastic. We ate there regularly and the evening meals and Ady's pizza were delicious. The staff at Fat Turtle were very friendly, helpful and on the ball. Especially Mit, Crem and Nui. The view from the Fat Turtle is amazing, overlooking the beach which was also clean, clear and lovely to swim in. We will definitely be back! Steve and Lisa, Preston, UK.
