Wonderful stay in Florence !

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful apartment - it was spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. The host was very kind and helpful, making check-in and our entire stay easy and pleasant. The location is excellent: very close to the city center, yet surrounded by a few lovely local restaurants that aren’t tourist traps. Parking is available on the street (paid), and it was convenient for exploring both Florence and the rest of Tuscany. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area!

Sweet Stay Outside Busy City Centre

Location was great. Outside the busy city centre with a great cafe on the corner and massive super market just around the corner. Tram & Bus stations super close and a nice 30 min walk into centre. Terrace was lovely and big. Bedrooms were a good.

Overall, a pleasant stay in a convenient enough location.

The location was good with about a half hour walk to places of interest; we were able to rely on walking throughout our stay. The host was flexible and responsive to our delayed check-in and rendering payment when we were not able to arrange a mutually workable in-person meeting.

A couple of bathroom notes: though there was a small stand with hair dryer – it would be helpful to have a more substantial stand or shelf for toiletries as well as door hooks on which to place clothing and towels while showering. The hot water in the shower seemed to diminish prematurely. Finally, the bedroom in the upper area facing the front of the property was subject to late night noise from congregating youth and early morning what seemed to be construction of some sort.

A authentic Italian experience

We loved the old fashioned style and feel of the place. A nice change from modern apartments. An eclectic choice that won't suit everyone but was just what we were looking for. It felt very Italian. The place is huge compared to others and it felt like a proper apartment that you could live in. Perfect for Florence!

Could do with updating some more of the electric sockets. A couple of them are coming away from the wall which could be dangerous, especially for children. Although there is a stand up shower in the second bathroom, it would be nice to have a shower screen in the main bathroom so you could shower comfortably there. It looks like there used to be one so it would be good to replace.

the apartment was far from cozy—expensive, old, dark and stripped of everyday essentials. Disappointing.

• The air conditioning worked well. • A Conad supermarket is nearby. • There is a washer available for laundry.

The apartment had several disappointing aspects that weren’t obvious from the photos. • No parking available—guests must either park on the street or pay for a garage nearby. • Bring your own cookware: the provided pans are old and heavily burned. • No dishwashing detergent is supplied. • Two toilets, one small bathroom, and the shower curtain was broken. • No hooks or racks to hang towels in either bathroom. • The larger bathroom had no curtain at all, and again, no place for towels. • Shampoo and toiletries are not provided. • Several electrical outlets were broken, and the number of working ones was limited. • The apartment was quite expensive for what it offered—not good value for the price. • It had poor lighting and outdated furniture. • The light fixture and the filter above the stove were dirty and worn out. The range hood does not work. • Kitchen issues: old silverware, no coffee spoons, no dish towels or cloths, and the walls were visibly dirty—not as clean as shown in the pictures. • The bed was old and uncomfortable, and the “double bed” was actually two single beds pushed together. • There was a coffee machine, but no pods provided.

Host was very accommodating to our early arrival, provided luggage storage, helped to acquaint us with the area, tourist spots, transport and great supermarket on next street.

Charming vintage apartment in a great location

Spacious and great location. The bedrooms were huge! Washer enabled us to do laundry.

The flat it’s self was very cozy and cute, big enough for two people, very warm, which is good as we are always cold.

Basic needs not met

1. The man who met us was really nice and welcoming. 2. Balcony/terrase where you can smoke. 3. Big and good supermarket was in 2 min walking distance.

Almost everything basic that you need to be able to stay somewhere was bad: 1. It was freezing cold,.the heating was weird working sometimes and the others not, especially in the night it was colder than outside, some of us caught cold naturally and the trip and next day were ruined. 2. Internet was not working at all. There was useless router in the room that did not provide any proper internet connection even a meter away from the router. As adviced the host we tried to connect to it in the corridor because connection was better there but it did not work either, all (3) of us had to use our own mobile internet for the whole stay. 3. Additional to freezing cold we also had no proper duvet, only throw kind of blankets (not that fresh and clean) were provided. 4. After contacting the host he said they were going to check the heating and wi-fi and afterwards nothing changed but he insisted that it was working and if it was that cold we could use electric heater which allegedely was there but we were not informed about it at all. So basic needs were not provided meaning not even for half price I would ever stay there again and based on my personal experience (i dont ask for 5 star hotel criteria) reviews giving 9-10 points are either fake or they did not need internet and were staying there during summer when cold is a plus.

Comfortable, tasteful, central location. Beautiful view on gardens. Great supermarket two minutes away.

Everything was good enough. Perhaps more equipment for the kitchen, such as leads to cover the pans and smaller pans for milk etc. WIFI could be better.

Superb

Fantastic host and great property suitable for family. Plenty of beds, great outside space. 2nd bath on the small side but good for that extra space when everyone needs to get ready in the morning. Within walking distance to city centre which is a major plus. Has bus route (but we didn't take it). Overall great property to spend sometime in Firenze.

there is no kettle or any pot in the apartment. That was super inconvenient taking in account that the apartment supposes self serving. The kettle costs around 50 euros. Is that an issue? The location is quite away from the city center either by walk or by bus.

A lovely place

It was all very good and functional. The owner kindly let us stay in the flat a few hours after check out, as our flight was in the late afternoon.

Muy cómodo, bonito, amplio, nos entusiasmaba volver al apartamento para descansar, relajarnos y preparar una rica cena.

Hermosísimo!!

El departamento es hermoso, muy luminoso y cómodo. Tiene una terracita donde se puede disfrutar del sol al aire libre rodeado de verde. Niccolo fue super amable en todo momento y nos consiguió un taxi para irnos (todo un desafío). Hay ascensor para subir las maletas, posee lavadero y plancha. La ubicación es muy buena, con supermercado a la vuelta. Se llega caminando al duomo, batisterio y museos. Excelente!!!! Grazie mille, Niccolo!!

Està situat a un barri tranquil, i a prop del centre històric en línia recta. Serveis de tot tipus molt propers. Confortable i amb detallets elegants. Niccolo va ser molt atent i amable, ens va posar tot tipus de facilitats.
