- the location - it is strategically placed so you can reach all major beaches in the area (Elafonisi ~35 min - you will have a head-start vs people coming from Chania or other big towns, Balos ~ 1h20min, Falassarna ~1h), but also other less known ones (our favorite was Paralia Psilos Volakas ~ 45 min)
- the jacuzzi and pool were great and clean
- you have 3 restaurants at a 5 min walk from the house
- the communication with the host was very responsive and clear
This didn't affect my rating but maybe it's important for others to know
- the area can have a bad internet connection (not the host's fault), but if you plan to work remotely you should considere it
- if you have a longer stay you should know you must self-manage in terms of cleaning (there's no service that comes every few days)

Beautiful and spacious Cretan home with a family feeling in the middle of amazing nature .The house is fully equipped with pool and jacuzzi.The landlord was extremely welcoming ,helpful and friendly .We were welcomed by an incredible cake made by the landlords mum .Elos is a super cute town with a village feeling and the most welcoming people.

The location of the villa in the beautiful village of Elos. Great restaurants in walking distance and incredible mountain views. The pool and hot tub were fabulous. Great welcome gifts - thank you for the delicious cake!
It took a couple of days to get used to driving along the mountain roads!

Ein wunderschönes Haus, mitten in der Natur gelegen! Es war alles so liebevoll vorbereitet mit vielen kleinen Details für den täglichen Bedarf. Alles war super sauber und der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr problemlos und immer verfügbar. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit!!
