AORI hillside villa is located in one of the most picturesque and unexplored provinces of the Western Crete. The owners created with love this beautiful 3-floor villa of traditional architecture with modern elements.
Aimed at travelers who look for a memorable escape close to the Cretan nature and and its people, away from the touristic cities of the North.
It is built on a fenced area among perennial olive trees trees in the village Kopetoi between the picturesque villages of Kandanos and Paleochora. Located at an altitude of 500 meters with breathtaking view.
AORI hillside villa can be used as a base to discover the wild beauty and the unexplored beaches of the South Crete, or you can relax in the Cretan countryside tranquility enjoying the understated luxury of the house.
Located only 15 km far from the beautiful city of Paleochora, the Bride of the Libyan Sea, with its endless beaches and crystal clear waters. Also located only 5 km far from the village of Kandanos where you can find all needed. It is 40 min away from the beach Elafonisi and 45 min away from Kissamos Port where ships depart for Balos Lagoon and Gramvousa.
AORI villa has at the second level three bedrooms and a bathroom and can accommodate up to 6 people. At the first level is the kitchen, living room, bathroom and fireplace . In the living room there is a sofa bed. Overall, the villa can accommodate up to 7 people.
It is fully equipped and offers great view to the Kandanos Valley.

We have spent about 2 weeks and this has been quite an experience. The house is super comfortable, very clean and very well equipped. The view on the valley is just stunning. The house is in the middle of nature, so in a very quite and beautiful place, but at the same time close to the very lively and picturesque village of Kandanos. You can also reach quite easily (20-25 min by car) the beaches of Palaiochora and Grammeno for example.
Evridiki, the owner, is more than very helpful. She can answer any kind of question almost in real time... ranging from the best restaurants in the surroundings to the hikes you can make around.
In summary, we just would like to go back to this marvelous place.

We loved our time at AORI hillside villa. The house is well-equipped with a fully equipped kitchen, and enough seating for many persons to eat. It is beautifully designed with French doors to balconies outside all the bedrooms and the living room, on which you can enjoy a fresh breeze through the valley and the view to the beautiful green and lush valley with olive orchards and woods. The beds are super comfortable and the living room has comfortable sofas. Within a 20-30 minute drive, you reach lonely beaches and great hikes.

We spent a fortnight vacation time in September 2016 in AORI hillside villa. The holiday villa is located in a beautiful lonely mountainous landscape. Surrounded by purely nature there is an entire quiet atmosphere. Designed and equipped with comfortable furniture and technical facilities the villa met completely our demands. Welcome and extraordinary hospitality and care during our stay by Anastasia and Vassilis was appreciated and needs to be emphasized. The picturesque and green Western region of Crete provided an multitude of leisure and excursion possibilities .
AORI Villa can be highly recommended.
