Casa Monticello

Our stay at Casa Monticello exceeded all our expectations. The place has a unique beauty: nestled high up in Montepertuso, above Positano, it offers a view of the sea and the coastline that is simply unmatched. Opening the windows every morning to that landscape was a true gift. The apartment is comfortable, spotless, and in an unbeatable location, with the peace and tranquility you look for in a real getaway, yet well connected for exploring the area. But what truly made this stay something special were Teresa and Fabrizio. Their hospitality, warmth, and constant attention to our every need made us feel at home from the very first moment. Always willing to help and to share recommendations, they gave us an experience we will never forget. Without a doubt, a place to recommend. We would come back without hesitation. Nothing to improve, everything was perfect

We loved everything. The hosts greeted us upon arrival and showed us the property. They made everything so easy and wonderful. The views are out of this world. I’d stay here again in a heart beat. I have been to positano 4x now and this property was my favorite.

The silence and the view of Positano which you could reach by a 30 min romantic walk on stairs.

Even in less friendly weather we enjoyed everything there.

The view from the room was amazing. Teresa, the owner, is really responsive with messages and room was clean overall. The apartment was equipped with all basic necessities.

Plates and glasses are surely not checked after every departure as we found them dirty ...seems that previous guests did not wash them well! Casa Monticello is 10 minutes by car away from the centre of Positano and hundreds of steps away by walk. On arrival we were not told that the bus that passes nearby is always full and you never manage to get on it besides that it passes every hour! To go down to the centre by taxi costs minimum 40 euros and when Teresa managed to find one for us it was 50 euros! We were not told that a transfer to the airport has to be booked days before so we risked loosing our flight since we found no taxis available and no help from the premises. A big thankyou to the only taxi man we found at the centre who gave us good advice how to arrive at the airport.
