The location is perfect. The view is toward the western part of Positano. It's located above the cathedral Santa Maria Assunta. The church is not visible from the apartment but the whole of the western town and the ocean. It makes for a great view.
Access is from the street with only a flight of stairs down to the front door. This is exceptional for Positano. The property has its own stairs to the street below (113 steps) with lots of restaurants. This then leads down to the beach.
The apartment is typical of Positano styling and is old but well kept with lots of atmosphere, great air-conditioning and very spacious.
Giovanni, the owner and a friendly gentleman, met us and explained everything about the property in detail and gave lots of helpful tips about the area.
The mattresses are on the old side.

Breakfast not applicable location fine but you had to walk 200 steps to get to foreshore
The place is old and some of the plumbing didn’t work very well
The outdoor furniture is old and needs upgrading
