About this apartment rental
La Casa di Luna(New Listing on Vrbo) is a beautiful and elegant property with breathtaking views of the coast and Positano.
It is 120 metres squared and can sleep up to 5 people. Casa di Luna boasts a mini heated swimming pool(which is 2.20cm wide, 4 metres long and 50cm deep) , private patio, private garden, large private terrace, spectacular sea views, air conditioning in all the rooms, winter heating and WI-FI Internet access.
We are just a 10-minute walk down the steps to the heart of Positano. Here you will find restaurants, bars, grocery stores, the famous church and the sandy beach.
Supermarket at 300 mt/ Bus stop at 100mt
As you arrive at La Casa di luna, there are 8 steps from the parking area to a secure, metal gate. Here you will also find a small garden with a bench under a beautiful lemon tree where you can spend time relaxing with a book or a glass of your favourite tipple. From the gate, there are a further 40 steps which lead to the patio area which is equipped with a mini swimming pool and outdoor furniture. From here, you can enjoy spectacular views of Positano and its famous coastline. On the left, along the side of the pool area, there are steps which lead to a different property above.
To reach the main entrance from the patio area, there are a further 12 steps. Here, on your left, there are 5 steps which take you to an outdoor dining area. There is a table, chairs, a BBQ and a fridge so you can cook and dine ‘al fresco’. This area boasts breathtaking views of Positano – turquoise waters, blue skies and amazing coastal views - just like the picture postcards! There is also an outdoor shower so you can cool off after sunbathing and relaxing on the patio. Here you will also find a small utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.
We have a small terrace surrounding the apartment so from the windows and French doors you can experience the wonderful view of Positano and its coast. There is also a large terrace with table and chairs & sofa’ where you can relax and take in the spectacular sights of the sea and coastline.
The main door leads into the fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, freezer, oven, sink, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher. There is also a small breakfast bar. Leading off the kitchen, there is a lounge/dining room. The open space has a TV, sofas and a dining table and chairs. From both the kitchen and lounge, you can access the terrace from the French doors. From inside, you can see the turquoise sea beyond.
From the open plan lounge/dining room, there is a door on the right which leads to another bedroom with a sofa’ bed. From this room, there are French doors which lead out onto the terrace.
On the left of the open plan lounge/dining room, there are three bathrooms and two bedrooms. The first bathroom has a large shower box, toilet, sink and bidet. Its beautiful green tiles mimic the colours of the sea. Next to this bathroom is a double bedroom with a double bed, wardrobe, TV, chest of drawers and French doors which open onto the balcony.
The second bathroom is blue like the deeper colours of the sea. It also has a large shower box, toilet, sink and bidet.
The second double bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and TV. This bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom with a sink, toilet and large box shower.
You will not need a car to stay at our house but if you do have one, you will be able to park it below the property in a private parking area(included). There is space for two medium-sized cars.
Not included in the price, to be paid in cash on site:
• Final cleaning 200,00 euros
• Late arrival fee after 8:00 Pm, 50,00 euros
• Tourist tax 2,5 Euros per day per person not included. The amount will be requested upon arrival in cash. The children under 10 years do not pay. The fee is requested only for bookings with arrival from April 1st to October 31.
• Damage deposit 300,00 euros

The pool can be heated to 30° (86°F) . The service will be provided for free in spring, autumn and winter, unless severe (and unlikely) weather conditions (e.g. strong wind from the north, you can see forecast on windfinder or equivalent) do not permit so.

Excellent accommodation spotless. The location is perfect, wallkable to the grocery store shops and restaurants. Amazing views from the villa and gorgeously decorated with all the amenities. 10/10 Fantastic.

My family and I stayed at this wonderful property July 2024. The views are amazing (from the large covered area, as you exit the front doors)and the property offers a lot of privacy given how high it is above the road. The multiple terraces/rest stops along the way gives the property a lot of character. The pool area was great for the kids and allowed a nice break from the crowds. All the rooms are well decorated and clean. It is clear that the host put thought into the home. Also Carmine (host) helped coordinate our arrival/departure and some activities, which was helpful. This property exceeded my expectations!

When we arrived I was blown away be seeing the views in person. The house is perfectly situated to sit and relax at the same time as taking in the breathtaking view. The house is very well equipped and everything worked as it should. The decorations were also a plus. A lot of care was put into this place and it shows. Just a 10 min walk to the beach and not too difficult. The house had the best showers with water pressure which was a huge bonus! The swimming pool has stunning views and is very well kept up on. The homeowner was welcoming and walked through the house with us to explain how everything worked before leaving. He even arranged transport for us which was wonderful.
We had a wonderful time! I will always remember the views and sweet family time we had here!! Highly recommended!
