The restaurant was the best thing about this hotel with some excellent elegant meals..
The spa was a bit pretentious… only allowed a maximum of four hours poolside ( outside pool which was a infinity pond, very busy and therefore not possible to swim in! )..
Being given a small dressing gown which must be worn without fail! when i’m an xxl size and having to traipse down to reception in something that was inappropriate…No gym facilities..

A beautiful hill top location & lovely hotel. Front of house staff were acceptable but restaurant staff at dinner were exceptional & the food totally delicious with knowledgeable wine advice. Also a pretty spectacular view from the terrace for dinner.
Breakfast food was as to be expected (average) with friendly staff but setting was up a floor & not so special (no view, no shade).
To spend time at the pool you have to ensure this is included in your booking deal, or pay extra (€50-€70) to then also include access to the spa & for a 4 hour time period only. For this standard of hotel, this is unexpected & a definite negative. Access to the pool should be standard, throughout a stay, with time in the spa bookable as an optional extra.
To eat breakfast outside there is offer of a tiny terrace only, without shade & no view, which was disappointing.
