B&B Plitvica Lodge

The property was like a Swiss wooden chalet. It is was high up in hills near Plitvice national park. The room was spacious with a large balcony - unfortunately we did not use as too cold. The staff were helpful especially with their information on national park. The location was perfect to visit park. Entrance 3 is a 5 minute walk away. We bought tickets online the day before for entrance 1 but you can use these for entrance 3. As we were only staying 1 night we had just 3 hours in the park but that was enough to see the lakes and waterfalls. It is an amazing place to go. We ate in the restaurant. There is a set 3 course meal for either meat, fish or vegetarian. Very local food and restaurant decor. Free “ magic water” from host. It was an enjoyable experience.

Perfect location, very close to a quiet entrance (P3) to the lakes. The Londge was comfortable and informal, set menu the same every night, we stayed 3 nights so had the same Trout meal twice, which was fine and it was fantastic. Lovely staff, varied quality of English spoken, but workable. Tara on the desk had excellent language skills so was able to troubleshoot any issues. All in all, fantastic. Cash only for dinner, but there's an ATM up the road.

Great location for access to the park through the third entrance (just a 5 minute walk!). The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The buffet breakfast was one of the best on our trip and included a delicious omelet made to order! The “meat” option for dinner provided a generous plate of 6 different meats, which were all very tasty. Note: both breakfast and dinner were an extra charge, but we would highly recommend them! FYI the schnapps that will be poured for you at dinner is an extra charge and not included in the meal.
