We loved everything about Zannier Le Chalet. Such a charming small hotel. Staff were all wonderful; went out of their way to make us comfortable and well taken care off. Cheerful, friendly, helpful, and kind. Breakfast was delicious w great fresh food. Our room, suite 2, was absolutely fabulous. We hated to leave and hope to return again!

Nice luxury stay

The property is stunning, with a perfect blend of elegance and cozy charm that creates a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere throughout. The staff is exceptional—professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly, consistently going above and beyond to ensure every guest feels well cared for. One of the standout features of our stay was the complimentary afternoon tea, which was a cozy experience, offering a perfect respite after a day on the slopes. Additionally, the shuttle service was not only efficient but also a great added value, making it incredibly convenient to get to and from the town or ski lifts with ease.

We stayed at the property for three nights in January and, while there were many things to appreciate, a few unfortunate incidents kept the experience from being truly perfect. The spa area is cozy and well-maintained, but the pool water was noticeably cold. After a long day on the slopes, a warm pool would have been a welcome way to unwind, so this was a bit disappointing. Breakfast was tasty and featured quality ingredients, though it lacked variety. A few more à la carte options would have really elevated the experience. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was impressively spacious, but the room itself felt quite small. What impacted our stay the most were two incidents. On the first day, after skiing in heavy snow, my gloves were soaked. When we left our gear in the ski room, the staff placed my wet gloves and my dry goggles inside my helmet. By the next morning, both the helmet and goggles were completely wet. While I could deal with a damp helmet, the fogged-up goggles made skiing very difficult that day. We did receive an apology and a thoughtful candle as a gesture, which I appreciated, and I’m sure more care was taken afterward, but it did disrupt our day and felt like something that shouldn’t happen at a property of this level. The second issue happened just before our departure. Already running late (our own fault), we had to wait an additional 20–25 minutes for our car because it was blocked by another vehicle that only one staff member—who wasn’t on-site—was authorized to move. This added a lot of unnecessary stress and nearly caused us to miss our flight. Overall, the property has charm and some lovely features, but these oversights made our stay feel less seamless than we had hoped.

What a lovely hotel. The buildings and the setting are magnificent, the rooms are spacious, well laid out and with great bathrooms. Very comfortable beds and lovely terraces. The breakfast is delicious. Above all, the staff are wonderful: every single one could not be more friendly, helpful or hospitable. They really went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Would definitely come back.

Heaven would be living forever in Le Chalet Zannier. Everything about our stay was incredible. The service is first class and it’s the little details on this that make you feel so special, like neatly laying out ski equipment into our car from the storage room each day, or arranging food for us in our room when we we’re arriving late at night. secondly the ambience of the hotel is incredible. my fiancé is a interior designer for the ultra prime market and she was so impressed. It feels to cosy, comfortable, warm and relaxing. also because there are only 12 rooms it often feels like you have the place to your self, like your own private chalet with 5 star service. finally the food was excellent. The chefs are geniuses with truffle! We loved to so much we will try to come back every year from now on.

Le Chalet Zannier is beyond compare. You are entering a class of hospitality that you may never have experienced before and may never find again. Given that the accommodation is suitably expensive, it is important to note that you are receiving something money can't buy: a genuine sense of warmth and bonhomie. Personal relationships that are well beyond just "service," although service of this caliber exceeds standards like "expert" and "seamless". Of course such care can't be divorced from the pricing. And yet you start to feel that money no longer matters once you step through the door. The staff, from the front desk, to the guys who drive you back and forth to the foot of the mountain, to the bartender, to the delightful manager, M. Chretien, connect from the heart, with warmth and familiarity. Care that is unmistakably human -- not dependent on tips and positive reviews. Alex is often at the desk. I won't say "front desk" because the chalet does not resemble an American-style hotel in any way. I had a painful condition triggered by a fall, and Alex insisted on driving me back and forth between the medical clinic and the pharmacy, then another pharmacy, then back to the doctor, to revise my prescription. He spent much of his morning driving me around Megeve, and I never got any sense that he was impatient or put out. He was just being decent and kind, and we had a great conversation throughout. What a way to feel taken care of! The food was superb, imaginative, not flamboyant or flashy. We saw other guests only rarely, just a nod and a smile as you passed in the dining room or the cozy sitting room surrounding the bar and fire place. The spa felt like a candlelit cavern, the masseurs were strong, gentle and beyond professional. We felt at times like we were the only people around -- not only in the chalet but in the whole valley.

Nothing I can think of! There were some mysteries about which light switch connected with which lights. But resolving those mysteries was more fun than effort.
