Nice stay in Megeve- things to improve

The restaurant, great breakfast, comfy beds, room was good sized- little kitchen, sofa pull out is actually two full singles beds- great! Nice apres with crepes and drinks. Staff is helpful and professional.

No real lounge area, bar is small (although great). Everything is in separate buildings so you need to go outside to get to restaurant etc. sauna and pool outside - which is fine if weather is warm but when there is snow it’s not so great to walk around in robes. In the rooms there is no place to hang anything - no hooks and limited closet space (we have the Megeve suite)- this is crazy for a ski resort. Shuttle service often hard to get ahold of and only spoke French. Bring your own cable for Ecar charging!

Comfortable and cozy. Great hotel for when you’re not in a rush to get onto the mountain.

Loved the pool and Sauna. Staff were excellent. The drinks and service at the bar were brilliant and breakfast was really good.

The hotel is a long way from the ski lifts. The team on the shuttle bus work really hard but at busy times often you need to wait for 30 mins as there isn’t room for everyone waiting.

A very charming chalet feel hotel that ticked all the boxes

We stayed for one night in early October with a few requirements, primarily that it was dog friendly for a highly trained Doberman and that the hotel had secure parking for my car as it’s a rare car and we didn’t want to unpack the car entirely in each hotel on our road trip. Both requirements were met and the parking was secure and private. We had a huge deluxe king suite that was v comfortable and a cool design with the added bonus of a large outdoor panoramic terrace. V welcoming reception team and an absolutely awesome location 10 minutes walk from central Megeve town.

Everything. Attentive staff, great location, comfortable, super cute terrace facing the garden, great facilities.

Nice and quiet stay in Megeve

Nice family hotel, close to village (10 min walking distance from Megeve village center). Close to tennis and sports center.

Check-in time (too late) and check-out time (to early). We did not properly verify the check-in time during room booking. It is 4 pm, and we therefore had to wait... which is basically an end of afternoon access to the room and an early 11am check-out for which we requested an exceptional extension till 12am. Plus room and bathroom would need some refreshment. Not as nice as pictures. Family suite was nice, however only 1 WC despite 2 rooms & bathrooms.

Beautiful, very much Megeve spirit: chic & chill. Kind and helpful staff. Easy walk to the city center.

Good location and easy to find. Staff were helpful and the hotel was clean

No parking or drop-off for the disabled outside the hotel. The bar area was quite compact and difficult to manoeuvre a wheelchair around. The hotel is starting to look a little tired in places.

Stylish well located hotel very close to central Megeve. We would gladly come back again!

Very stylish décor and interiors, beautiful garden. Nice pool. Super helpful staff. Underground parking with direct access to the room. Walking distance to everywhere in Megeve. Very child friendly. Our kids loved the pool and the ping pong table. Tasty breakfast, great cocktails and yummy dinner.

Sound insulation could be better. We could hear our neighbours and people on the hallways. Cigarette smoke from our downstairs neighbour's balcony coming into our apartment. The family apartments are equipped very comfortably for a longer stay, including two bathrooms, a separate toilet, nice balcony, but the rooms are rather small. Difficult to open doors and wardrobes at the same time.

A little moment of bliss in this mountain idyll

I loved everything about this pretty hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful. The pool was absolutely beautiful and I had to drag myself away to get going on my journey the next day. The breakfast was excellent and with loads of choice. The location of the hotel was out of this world and it was only a short walk to the centre of Megeve. I hope to go back there one day.

Very good

The fact that they have family room, kitchenette, 2 bathrooms. The pool was heated, Good bedsheets, soap by l'occitane good. The staff was super nice!!!kids friendly place. Smooth check in. Coffee and tea complimentary in the room. Very close to the center. Dishwasher is always a plus.

They did not have long chairs at the pool like in the pictures. In the bedroom, the carpet did not look very clean. Beds not comfy. It did not smell good in the corridors of the chalet(humidity.)

Perfect room for a week vacation with your family.

the rooms is excellent, there is all you need for a long vacation with your little ones - we were with our baby and she was very comfy. The clean staff is very polite and they were cleaning/ organising once we were living the hotel. It was very surprising to see how they care for the minimal details without we request anything. The shuttle is also a plus, even with a baby it was easy, the drivers are very kind and helpful.

It is out second time in the hotel and we were expecting a warmer pool. However it was around 28-30 degrees and it was extremely cold outside, so the pool should not be below our body temperature. Pretty cold and always empty - probably due to the temperature which is not proper for the weather. So do not book the hotel expecting to have some relaxing time around the pool.

Great location and property, entirely let down by the front of house service.

The facilities of the hotel were as expected and matched the price point we were expecting. The location, whilst out of the centre did not matter because the shuttle service was fantastic and always available.

The overall service from the staff at the hotel did not match what I would expect at this price point. Breakfast service was consistently slow and (for example) had to repeat orders for drinks several times each day just to get a coffee. The bar service was mediocre. On arrival we were told it remained open until 11pm, but at 10:30pm on the first night we were told it was closed. It was open until 11pm the next day. Very inconsistent and disappointing. Also dont bother asking reception to book anything for you (even though they say they are happy to do so) as the service is slow or entirely unresponsive, even when asking for reservations at the hotel's own restaurant!

A cosy wooden hotel in close proximity to Megeve center

The hotel consists of the four large wooden cottages. It is approximately 15 walking minutes away from the Megeve center. It has ski shop on site, spa, sauna and a pool outside. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is nicely decorated with the fireplace.

The shared spaces, such as the reception, the bar, are very small. I think the hotel fits more the summer holidays. Our room was on the ground floor, had no view, was dark and very small (the photo is misleading). The entire space of approx. 35m was split between bedroom, kitchen with sofa, bathroom. As a result there was almost no space. The decoration was very modest. In order to go to the restaurant one should dress up as it’s in another cottage. They shouldn’t charge so much for these tiny rooms. I guess there are also other better planned rooms available.
