Hôtel des Comédies

The staff were so welcoming and helpful, and we felt welcome with kids. We booked the triple room was perfect for our family of one adult and two kids, very clean and comfy with excellent A/C in a sweltering hot time for Paris, and the breakfast had lots of selections (bacon, sausage, eggs, yogurt and granola, cheeses, croissants and baguettes, cereals, and nuts and dried fruit, and especially enjoyed the cappuccino and espresso machine). 20 mins walk to Gare du Nord and to Notre Dame/Ile de Cité and all the shopping in between. We loved it!

Some confusion at checkin and checkout re: payment in that my card was charged by booking.com to hold the room at half the rental and then charged again for the full price when I checked in. As of now, 12 hours after checkout, both charges still appear on my credit card, even though the first was supposed to be a deposit. I will keep checking but this is frustrating and may be just a booking.com problem and not the hotels fault, not sure

Room was great, breakfast was really good and staff super friendly. Conveniently located close to subway.

I liked everything

I had visited Paris several times before and was looking for a hotel in a more central location. Hôtel Comédies immediately caught my attention thanks to its excellent location and outstanding value for money, so I felt confident that I had made the right choice. Upon arrival, my expectations were exceeded from the very beginning. The warm welcome from the hotel staff made an immediate difference and ensured that my holiday got off to a wonderful start. This positive impression continued throughout my entire stay. The hotel team was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and always willing to help, making me feel genuinely welcome at all times. The room itself was quiet, spotless, and comfortable, providing the perfect place to relax after a day in the city. The location is excellent: two metro lines are practically right outside the door, there is a supermarket directly across the street, and countless bars, cafés, and restaurants are within easy walking distance. Even during what was probably one of the hottest weeks of the year, the highly efficient and draft-free air conditioning made it pleasant to spend time in the room and ensured a comfortable night's sleep. I would gladly stay here again and can highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located hotel with truly outstanding service.

Good value for location close to Metro and Restaurants

The internet connection was poor with NO ACCESS for a significant portion of my stay. Brought this to the attention of the front desk without any resolution.
