A couple of ergonomic things in the room, especially there being no way of turning the main light on and off without going to the switch next to the door.

It's a perfect location to explore the area. The couple running the hotel is super nice and friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breackfast is plenty with different options of bread, fruits, eggs, cereals, etc. Overall, great value for money.

Nicest hotel I’ve stayed in in a while!

Very very clean! Owners were super nice!!! Check in and out was super smooth and easy! The room was so cute, clean, and comfortable! Would for sure stay here again!

No elevator so I had to carry all our stuff up the stairs but it wasn’t bad at all! We stayed on the third floor and it was a super easy staircase to climb!

The breakfast was very good---fresh, yummy breads. It is charged for separately but the room and breakfast are a very fair price.

One has to be aware that there is no elevator, but help with bags is available!

Tolles Hotel in bester Stadtlage

Sehr schönes, gemütliches und geräumiges Zimmer, komfortables Bett, leckeres Frühstück, sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Inhaber, tolle Lage nahe der Innenstadt und des Gewerbegebiets. Meine Nummer 1 in Mayen - übermorgen geht es wieder dort hin. ;-)

Gutes Stadthotel für den Kurztrip

Ansprechend ausgestattet, ausgezeichnetes Frühstück (kleines Buffet, aber fein, alles von sehr guter Qualität). Endlich mal wieder ein gut ausgeleuchtetes Hotelzimmer ohne diffuses Licht!

Steckdose in der Nähe des Bettes bzw. an anderer Stelle mit Ablagefläche (Laden Handy). Doch eine ganz gute Ecke von der Altstadt entfernt (mit Steigung), okay - aber nicht unbedingt ideal, wenn man nicht gut zu Fuß ist.

Guter Standort für Unternehmungen und Wanderungen

Wir hatten ein renoviertes Zimmer direkt unter dem Dach. Es war trotz der Straße sehr leise. Gute Ausstattung und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen, alles sehr liebevoll und lecker präsentiert. Das absolute Highlight war abends das Essen. Preislich im oberen Bereich, aber durchaus gerechtfertigt. Tolle Weine, tolle Gerichte auch wieder sehr liebevoll und schmackhaft präsentiert, besonders die Steaks haben uns echt begeistert. Dazu noch sehr freundliche Menschen. Vielen Dank nochmal für alles.

Das Zimmer war wie bereits geschrieben unter dem Dach, so dass 65 Stufen zu bewältigen sind 😅. Man gewöhnt sich dran, aber nach einer längeren Wanderung kommt dann noch eine Bergetappe obendrauf.... trotzdem würden wir nochmal kommen.

Eine sehr erfreuliche Entdeckung !! Ein gepflegtes, sehr ansprechendes Ambiente und eine hervorragende Küche. Zusammen mit der freundlichen und zuvorkommenden Bedienung ein wunderbarer Abend. Auch Übernachtung und Frühstück waren sehr überzeugend!!

Super Unterkunft mit tollem Gastgeber

Sehr tolle Unterkunft. Der Gastgeber war sehr bemüht und hat versucht wo es nur geht auf Wünsche einzugehen. Man hat wirklich gemerkt, er hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben. Bsp: Koffer geholfen hoch tragen, extra Wurst/Köse serviert (ohne Schwein), Wasserkocher zur Verfügung gestellt. Hat man einen Wunsch geäußert wurde es sofort versucht zu Helfen. Frühstücksbuffet war wirklich ausreichend, war genug da und man hatte eine gute Auswahl. Verschiedene Brötchen/Brot, Belag, Saft, Wasser, Milch, Müslis etc. Ebenso wurde frische Eier angeboten, ob gekocht, Spiegelei oder Omlet. Extrawünsche wurden alle berücksichtigt. Ebenso wurde frischer Kaffee/kaffeevaritionen angeboten. Parkplätze sind hinter dem Haus einige vorhanden. Ebenso kann man vorne an der Straße 1-2 Stunden parken. Gut zum Be/Entladen.

Leider kein Lift, aber das ist halt dem historischen Gebäude geschuldet, nicht wild, denn der Gastgeber hilft wo er kann.

Schönes Hotel mit geschichtlichem Charm

Wir hatten schöne Zimmer zum Hof die sauber und gut ausgestattet waren. Die Betten sehr bequem und breit. Auch das Frühstück war reichhaltig und von guter Qualität. Die nette Dame hat Frühstück und Abrechnung super gemanagt.

Der Schlüsselkasten stand bei Ankunft offen. Es hätte jeder dort zugreifen können...
