Forced to leave for safety, but the hotel only cared about money!!!

had no time to experience what we like..

We stayed at Louloudis Fresh on July 9, 2025, but had to leave around 2:30 AM due to a wildfire threatening the property. Hotel staff knocked on our door aggressively, instructing us to leave “for our safety,” while the fire was visibly raging behind the hotel, the area was in blackout, and staff advised us to avoid certain roads and ports. Like many other guests, we prioritized our family’s safety and left the island immediately. Afterward, I contacted the hotel respectfully, requesting a fair resolution — either a refund or a voucher — given the extraordinary circumstances. Management, however, dismissed our experience, insisting that because no “official evacuation order” was issued, they bore no responsibility. This attitude — ignoring guests’ trauma and prioritizing policy over safety — is deeply disappointing and unprofessional. Expecting guests, in the middle of the night, under visible danger, to question whether staff’s instructions to leave were “official” is both unreasonable and unethical. The way management handled this situation reflects a business that values profit over basic decency and guest care. I sincerely hope no one else has to endure the same experience.

Perfect geaway in Thassos

First of all, our host was incredibly kind, welcoming and friendly. The place is ideal for couples who want to spend quality time in Thassos away from the crowds. The hotel is designed neatly, you can enjoy your breakfast surrounded with greenery. It is also very close to beautiful beaches. Would recommend Louloudis Beach as well. We would like to come back sometime hopefully soon :)

I would say nothing. The only tiny downside is the fact that hotel is located by the main road, which may sometimes let you hear the traffic.

Chill and relaxing

I was looking for a chill, quiet hotel and this is what I found here, at Louloudis Fresh. Nice atmosphere, nice people, nice and chill music.

The only thing that I miss on this vacation it was the variety of vegetables and fruits at the breakfast. But the rest of the food was tasty.

Amazing destination and great value for money

Everything was perfect. The room was spacious and clean, the furniture were well preserved. There were so many amenities in it - literally a whole small kitchen with an oven, sink and a good, working fridge. The location is really great, less than five-minute walk to the nearest beach, which was also incredible, and also less than 15 min drive to Limenas (the island's capital). The breakfast was great and the pool magnificent. Simply amazing. Everything was incredible, we enjoyed our stay very much - we had a good rest, friendly staff and great quiet time to relax. Would definitely come back again!

Location is good, nearest beach is located in 10 minutes walk distance. Cleanliness is good, they clean rooms every day. Breakfast and swimming pool are nice.

We enjoyed a very good stay

Good and varied breakfast. The location is good - a few hundred meters from the hotel there is a very good beach. The staff is friendly and kind. It is very clean in the rooms and around the hotel.

As the hotel is close to the road it is noisy but the rooms are very well insulated.

Perfect location! Very nice and lovely hosts, we feeled very welcomed and it was really amazing experience to stay at such a nice place. One of the best places we have been in Greece! It was also very nice to have the breakfast at the pool. Can only recommend it!

Amazing stay in Thassos

We booked 6 nights at Hotel Louloudis fresh. It is a quiet adults only hotel with its own large parking lot and a garden with olive trees. We had such a great time that we extended our stay for another night. Cleaning is done daily both in the room and in the courtyard. The pool is very clean and is up to 2,60 meters deep, not recommended for those who can't swim as the entrance from the stairs is directly into the deep water at 1,20 meters. Breakfast is very good - even for the pickiest. You can have lunch and dinner at the hotel, the food is very tasty and the portions are very large. The hotel is about 600 m from its own beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, and it is also easy to reach on foot. The sunbeds are free but there is a minimum charge of 5 euro for a sunbed. The staff is very attentive to all requests of guests and I think it is a big plus for the hotel. Polina that during the day you find at the beach bar at the beach, in the evening you find her in the hotel to serve you at the restaurant. She is always with a smile on her face and willing to talk to each guest individually. In fact all the staff is very friendly. We were most impressed by the location, the quietness and cleanliness of the hotel and last but not least the staff. I highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely stay here if we visit Thassos again.

- staff was very kind and helpful - the state of the property: very well upkept. - comfy beds - you can see the sea from 1st floor - there's a mini-fridge and a water boiler available in the room - diversified breakfast in a very nice atmosphere

Everything :) The location is very nice, the pool has a beautiful view over olive trees and see, the personal is very friendly and the Louloudis Beach bar is perfect for a vacation mood. We will be back, for sure.

Excellent experience

We got moved from Fresh to Boutique as we went there at the end of season and there weren't many guests, but Boutique was excellent, closer to the beach, it has its private beach and free sunbeds. The staff is very kind and helpful, they speak english very well. Breakfast was very good, kinda the same every morning, but there were plenty choices. Overall, our stay here was great and would choose it again!

Wifi doesnt work very well and we the phones didnt have good signal in the room, i had to step out to be able to talk on the phone. No walking distance shops, first market is like 3km away.

The hotel is modern and cozy, the rooms are nicely decorated and the eating area is beautiful, with a nice view of the sea. Location was great, a 10 minute drive from the ferry, but in a quiet little town, far from noise or big crowds. There are some really nice beaches a short walk from the hotel. We especially recommend the beach at Louloudis Beach Bar, a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Staff is very nice and friendly, and the rooms were cleaned every day.

Everything was just fine. We liked very much that the rooms were identical with the ones in the photos. The swimming pool is perfect and the view very nice. The staff very friendly and helpful.

The wifi service should be improved as it almost didn’t work. Also a little more variety on TV channels and a bigger TV screen would be great.
