Wonderful Atmosphere

I was impressed by how welcoming the entire team was at this hotel. From reception to the restaurant, everyone treated us kindly and made us feel comfortable. The outdoor areas are attractive and well maintained, and the pools were a great place to spend the afternoon. The room was modern and quiet, with a nice bathroom and balcony. The buffet had both international and local dishes, and everything tasted fresh. I would happily return for another stay.

Great place !!!

They upgraded my room to bigger one for free!!! Also they gave me dinner for free . Very nice people!! Very big rooms with great service. Good food and good pools ,very comfortable hotel . I will be back .

The WiFi in the room is little bit weak . There is no towel in the gym and some of the Fitness equipment don’t working .

A Great Choice for a Summer Getaway

Alea Hotel & Suites turned out to be an excellent choice for our summer getaway. The combination of comfortable rooms, friendly service, and easy access to the beach made our stay memorable. We enjoyed the variety at breakfast and dinner, and the staff were always available if we had any questions or requests. The atmosphere is calm but not dull, and the overall cleanliness of the resort is impressive. I would gladly come back in the future.

Very bad management

Dear Booking, I would like to briefly share my disappointment with my check-in at ALEA Hotel & Suites Thassos on 23.09.2025. My companions and I arrived on 23.09. at 4:10 PM. There were no other customers at the front desk, however, our check-in took more than an hour because: * First of all, there were no available rooms corresponding to the those, I booked; * I was successively offered 4 different rooms, all of which were lower class than the one booked; * The fifth room offered had a strong residual smell of cigarette smoke; we are all non-smokers. * In the end, I was still offered two rooms that matched my booking, but one of them could not be opened with the provided card, so I had to wait in front of the door for them to bring me an additional mechanical key, * When leaving the hotel on 27.09 early in the morning (5:30AM) I did not receive a final balance / invoice for the amounts I paid (although the previous evening I warned the same receptionist about the early check-out). I have thirty years of experience in intensive international travel in four continents, but I have never encountered such a welcome anywhere in the world. Best regards! Mladen Tsonev

Very well maintained, clean and exceptionally well run with friendly helpful staff. Well spread out so not cramped. Beach area ideal for children as shallow and sandy for a long distance away from the shore. We couldn’t fault this hotel. Great air-con, comfortable beds , great service and food was a good quality and plenty of variety.

Great stay in Thasos

The beach was big and very nice, each room had its own sunbeds. We also got a complimentary meal in the panoramic restaurant, which had a really nice view. The executive luxury suite has 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms and is perfect for a family or 2 couples.

Too much concrete in the complex. It needs more trees and green plants.

I will not prefer this hotel again.

Nothing.

No bellboy, no technican, bad quality rooms. But General Manager try to make us happy, so he did partly. He was a concerned person who tried to solve problems. However, old rooms need renovation (new room was good) and there should be enough staff employed. The breakfast was below average and poor. Beach is dirty, they do not clean it. Beach towel is available in the reception, after you go to beach you have return back to reception because it is not available on the beach. Great GM, lucky to have such a GM.

Beyond expectations

Everything was perfect. Private beach, several pools, fitness center, spa, padel court, beach volleyball, beach football, indoor entertainment for kids… Cleaning was spotless. Hospitality was on another level - our kid was sick for two days, and everybody was so kind and helpful. Food - we had a HB, breakfast was very good but the dinner was unexpectedly good. Every night there was a new program and new lineup of dishes. Antonios, the manager, and his whole crew lifted this hotel to a five star facility. Overall it was a great experience.

Stuff was excellent

Sea was not good and photos vs actual did not match. Did not like breakfast, car park was not enough. Price was too high comparing to what we get unfortunately.

We will definitely not be back

I paid for 3 adults, 3 single beds. I received two beds next to each other and a non-extendable sofa on which a kind of dirty topper was placed. The room was not well cleaned, there were many hairs on the floor, and one of the sheets was torn. The seats on the beach were insufficient for the number of guests. This is not 4 star level service.

Perfect for families

It's a wonderful place, with a private beach, nice staff and good food. The rooms are very nice, cleaned daily, and everything is well maintained. I will not tell you everything that we've liked, because there are so many. It's more important that there are very few things that we didn't like. I saw some reviews complaining about lunch at the beach restaurant, and I can tell you that there are no issues with the food. Yes, sometimes it gets a bit overcrowded, but nothing to complain about, in my opinion. It's definitely one of the best places I've been in.

Waiters are asking you, too much for the plates, and if you are done. The main restaurant is getting too hot at the dinner service, at least in my opinion. The mini disco for the kids is at 20:00, which is in the middle of the dinner service (19:00-21:00), and you have to hurry in order to make it.

Bad

İ wanted a double bed but they gave two beds. İ arrived so early and asked for an earlier check in cuz came from a long way with a baby but i could only check in at 15.20pm. The room was disgusting they didnt even clean the room properly.Bad food stay away from this one..

Good resort to take it easy!

The staff was great, from Adonis in reception, to Ivonne as an activity coordinator to Nicos at the pool bar. Everybody was friendly and positive. We had a good time and the people made our stay great.

Fantastic holiday

Lovely location and interior/exterior, located next to a beautiful beach. All of the staff were so friendly and helpful (including the receptionists, cleaners and waitresses), especially the receptionist who informed me about the many sights Thassos has to offer. There was a variety of different foods although some dishes could be improved. All in all were a great stay.

The best ever choice of hotel at Thassos island. It was great stay, excellent beach and facilities, friendly and kind staff, clean rooms and beautiful large pool. As option hotel offered outside places for dinning as it has great views to enjoy during the dinner. Many thanks to the nice and kind staff, especially to the manager which has always been at any guests disposal.

Full of amenities in the room

Large room, very clean, with wonderful double bed, comfortable pillows, include a safe and a fridge. My private bathroom was equipped with a bathtub and a hairdryer. Value for money and definitely worth a visit!

Hotel was a gem

Friendly staff, attentive housekeeping service, fast check in/out, free parking, free WiFi in whole venues of the hotel. At the hotel we found a hot tub, a hammam and an indoor pool. The facilities had also a beach volleyball court. Also the seaside tavern Almyra had amazing and tasty Greek dishes. Definitely we'll be back for more days!

Beautiful location, lovely hotel and helpful hardworking staff Room - we had a pool view room, comfortable, cleaned with nice decoration, fresh towels and white bed linen. Would recommend a sea view room. Hotel - beautiful location, large swimming pool and wonderful beach. Excellent bar and restaurant near by the beach with great sea views. Food - available in the main restaurant. Generally it was top notch, there were some excellent dishes depending on your own taste. Staff - everyone we dealt with and spoke to had a great customer facing attitude and they are always willing to help. Very hard working! Conclusion - would definitely go back!

Excellent and relaxing stay, hotel had three bars which served amazing cocktails, restaurant had delicious food and drinks too. My room was spacious, had double bed, comfortable mattress and soft pillows. Private balcony, TV and air conditioning were a few of amenities in my room.
