We strongly advise against staying here especially given the manager's rude and dismissive attitude

We recently stayed at The Mini Resort in Thasos, Greece, and unfortunately, it marked our first negative experience after many enjoyable vacations. The day after our arrival, while we were at the beach, someone entered our room and stole our cash. We suspect this was premeditated, as we had specifically requested no cleaning services likely to give the intruder uninterrupted time to search, with someone possibly covering for them in case we returned early. We had booked only five nights and, for environmental reasons, felt no need for towel changes during our short stay. To make matters worse, when I asked the manager for room entry logs, she began shouting at me. She claimed she couldn't provide them because the system didn't allow filtering by individual rooms, which struck me as incompetent, at the very least, she could have taken targeted screenshots of the relevant entries. She showed no empathy whatsoever, even after I explained that I wasn't expecting to recover the money, but simply wanted measures taken to prevent similar incidents for other guests. The hotel presents itself as a four-star property, but its security is sorely lacking, with no video cameras in the hallways. Breakfast options were limited to pastries, various egg dishes, tomatoes, sweet breads and tea. The location is about 3 km from the seaside, adding to the inconvenience. We strongly advise against staying here, especially given the manager's rude and dismissive attitude when I mentioned that our room had been violated in our absence. In the end, we chose to check out a day early, despite having paid for five nights.

Great new hotel

The great outdoor space, the pool area + sunbeds, rooms are spacious, the staff is very polite and helpful

Our room wasn't cleaned until I asked the front desk - after almost 3 days (maybe cleaning is done upon request, but we weren't announced this when checking in); also, the breakfast could be a little more various for a 4 star hotel

Faptul ca pe booking când am făcut rezervarea am pus 2 camere pt 4 adulți +1copil 3ani si la resort s a transmis doar 2camere pt 2 adulți si am fost nevoiți sa mai plătim alți bani in plus( 160€ ) fata de cât plătisem deja prin booking ( 726€ cu reducere last minute ). MAI BINE FACETI REZERVAREA DIRECT LA RESORT/PROPRIETAR DECAT PRIN BOOKING !!!!!
