A really excellent week of late-season skiing

Excellent location, and a comfortable hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, who were very responsive and always did their best to fulfil our requests. Consistently good breakfasts and always very good dinners

It would have been helpful for those not travelling with young children if dinner could end a little later at, say, 8.30 rather than 8.00. Obergurgl itself is rather quiet and lacking in shops.

Excellent

Excellent family run hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Good choice of food at both breakfast and dinner. Comfortable rooms with nice view. Very convenient location for the ski lifts. We will stay here again when we visit Obergurgl .

Nice hotel, good facilities, perfect location

Great, family run hotel. Very friendly staff, great breakfast/dinner menus. Easy access to the ski room. 2 minute walk from the Festkogelbahn ski lift, and ski hire shop is over the road.

The bed wasn't the comfiest, but that is just personal preference.

Potentially good hotel ruined by underinvestment and terrible attitude of owners who run it.

Location near slope

Attitude of the owners who run this hotel. Mean and unhelpful (although other particularly kitchen staff were accommodating and courteous) Poor to non-existent WiFi Gym area and kids area in name only Serious lack of investment in property, outdated furnishings and fittings Poor sleep quality due to uncomfortable mattress (particularly sofa bed). 2 single duvets on double bed and when double requested the owner replied it is like this in all of Austria which is ridiculous. Poor bed linen which wasn’t changed during 7 night stay. Often stodgy food and owner tries to make money by charging 5 euros for tap water even when ordering bottles of wine I could go on but needless to say I shall not be returning to Alpenaussicht. Place mostly occupied by block bookings from tour companies. How this classified as four star I really do not understand.

Quite an average skiing area compared to other resorts in Austria and quite pricey

Breakfast, dinner, very helpfull and kind staff, supper upon arrival

As a family we were split into 2 different parts of the hotel, our room was not heat up upon our arrival

Aufbauende Kritik: Wir bedauerten, dass Kellner/innen meist nur englisch gesprochen haben. Das Hotel dagegen war tirolerisch, familiär und die Speisen sehr regional.

WLAN im zimmer hatte schlechten empfang.. ansonsten sehr gut im Hotel. (Lässt sich mit Repeater lösen.)

Allemaal net niet. Op de kamer geen waterkoker oid Dus geen koffie of thee Badkamer 2 m2 groot kan je net met 1 pers in staan. Douchen in het bad Kamer erg sober
