Cosy stay with some car noise

The location is perfect if you enjoy kayaking and a cool water dip in the river nearby. We were living in a private hut that we found spacious and cosy, with good wifi if you decide to have a workation here.

Because of the trees surrounding the hut (we got the one closest to the river) and the cloudy sky during our stay, it felt dark and chilly inside. I imagine this would be perfect for hot days. Fortunately, the staff seemed to anticipate this, as there was an electric radiator and a prepared fireplace inside to provide warmth. However, the location near a bridge did lead to some annoying noise from passing cars

The Lady and young man working there were always extremely helpful and kind. They made our stay very enjoyable. The location of our cabin (#4) was fantastic. It was the closest to the river, which made an easy walk to the water for our small kids. We liked the quietness and peacefulness of the area. There is a "curfew" from 2000-0800 where no cars are allowed to come into the area or leave. This is not enforced, just highly encouraged. But it encourages guests to be respectful of others in regards to noise. Good location if you need to go to the grocery store quickly. You can stay outside of the city, but still get to a store within 5-6 minutes. Also a short, easy drive to Klaipeda if you are looking to visit that area. Although this paragraph is short and the paragraph below is long, we had a great time and would definitely stay here again. The solitude of the cabins and the access to nature was wonderful. The staff allowed us to use a jacuzzi one evening even though it wasn't beside our cabin. They also did not mind if a few of our family members came over to visit for a bbq. We were mindful of the rules and keeping our noise to a minimum. We did not want to ruin their generosity. Overall the people were nice, helpful, and made our stay extremely pleasant. Would absolutely recommend this location, and if we are ever back in the area, it will be the #1 place for us to stay.

The old man who works there (looks like Santa) seemed to make up rules. We went for a walk down a well worn trail that led away from our cabin. We came across the man and his dog and he told us we were not allowed on this road. This makes no sense because there are no signs that say DO NOT ENTER or NO TRESPASSING or anything else. It was irritating because just the day before, he told us something completely opposite of what the nice young man had told us. (We always tried to interact with the nice lady or nice young man, it seemed the older gentlemen did not know much about the daily operations) The TV in the cabin doesn't work...and no one told us. We had to ask why there was no remote control and why we could not change the channel. They should just remove the tv from the cabin. The bathroom sink is TINY. It is so small that you can barely brush your teeth in it. I realize they are trying to save some space in a small cabin, but the sink definitely needs an upgrade. There are no power outlets upstairs. It was over 30C in the evenings. We had a fan to help keep us cool, but we couldn't use it because there is no power upstairs. You can't even charge your phone. The cleaning lady almost hit our children with her car while they were playing outside our cabin. She was not watching where she was driving. I could see that she was not using her mirrors, just driving blindly. She also broke the 2000 curfew by leaving at 2030. So do the employees not have to obey the curfew? only the guests? Also, it appeared the hot water kettle had never been cleaned. The amount of junk inside it was astonishing. The cleaning lady needs to do a much better job in the kitchen. Another rule not enforced is not bbq'ing within 7 meters of the cabin. Our neighbor guest was bbq'ing about 2 meters from our window. We were not able to open the window in the 30+ degree heat because of all the smoke.

The room (bathroom) could really use some plumbing. It would be hard to bear the scent if the night was not warm enough to keep the window open.

The staff was so friendly and their communication was so simple that I should say they were ‘welcoming people who invited you to stay at their home’. I wish there were more cosy communication as it was in Žemsodis

the room. We were informed that the room is tiny. no worries there. a tip to the property: please cover windows with a dark material, the sun will not heat the room so much But when asked, the administrator took some time and found a fan for us. But the room was very hot from the sunlight (weather temperature outside 28-29C). Also no fridge or A/C.

Lithuanian agroturism with great canoeing portfolio

Very nice and energetic owner. Despite the fact she did not communicate in english, we were able to understand each other. She offered us free canoeing tehnique lesson, which was very nice. Object is located on huge plot and has direct access to river Minija. There are (among other) small training lake - you can practice canoeing for free, volleyball court, kids playground and golf course. Room in main bulding had almost everything needed for a few days stay. Breakfast was rich in nutrients.

There is always something that could be improved. In that regard, a fridge for guests staying in main building would be an advantage. Especially if there is no lunch/dinner service available in object. Golf playing would be more enjoyable, if the grass was cut to the proper height. Also the breakfast (despite it was tasty) could vary from day to day.

Very good

Great breakfast, very lively and helpful hosts, perfect location and very good value. The room was spacious enough, the beds were comfy, bathroom was clean and had all of the necessities. We especially enjoyed the view of the pond from the window.

The floors in the room were quite cold, especially closer to the outside wall and in the bathroom. We got two separate single beds although we have ordered one double bed - no big deal - we just pushed them together. Also the tv only showed a couple of russian speaking channels and there was no wifi, but that was not why we came there, so it wasn't that much of a problem.

Cozy place

It was a really nice experience! The house we stayed in was cozy, surrounded by beautiful nature, near the river. There was a private yard for us only, hammock, barbecue spot, so it’s nice to go there for a quiet rest.

We stayed there for 2 nights and one thing we didn’t like was that breakfast menu was the same, so there was nothing to choose from.

Value for money.

Breakfast was very original, not the typical buffet. Exceptional territory, nice walks within it. Good working WiFi, free parking.

In the morning hot water changed into just cold. Selection of TV programs is absolutely poor. The hotel territory is very close to a busy road with noisy cars, and there is nothing to do with this.
