Big room on the ground floor with green patio with partly Mountain View (we stayed in Krone Villa part of the hotel). Rich breakfast with large selection of different ingredients.

no air conditioning, a little bit noisy, no sockets next to the bed, unnecessary complicated lighting control in the room. We found a cockroach in the bathroom

I stayed overnight with my family to break up a long drive. We selected Dornbirn as a location because of its proximity to our route, and services we care about nearby (the phenomenal Vegan Burger restaurant very short walking distance from Hotel Krone). The hotel was dated in some ways, but everything worked as expected, and it was comfortable! Breakfast was really good (with good vegan options), though it closed at 9am, and we barely made it. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful and patient, despite my poor German (I did not ask them to speak English, so I'm not sure if that would have been an option). The parking lot was very convenient, right next to the hotel, with many large spaces (no problem to park our large station wagon which we often have problems parking).

The glasses provided in the room were not very clean.

Superb

Special thanks to the staff as they are very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the breakfast. The selection is just right but the quality's good. Love the scrambled eggs as they are pluffy and creamy, this normally is one of the easiest thing that a breakfast buffet can butcher. So this says a lot about the food quality They do pay attention to detail/cleanliness and this more than supersedes the a bit dated interior that they have to work on. Overall we enjoyed the stay.

Angenehmer Aufenthalt

Ich hatte für einen Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten ein Einzelzimmer mit Frühstück im Hotel Krone gebucht. Der Empfang bzw. das Personal waren während des gesamten Aufenthaltes sehr freundlich, besonders positiv ist zu bewerten, dass uns angeboten wurde, unsere Motorräder direkt unter der Überdachung vor dem Hoteleingang abzustellen. Das Einzelzimmer mit Bad war groß, alles war absolut sauber. Positiv hervorzuheben war m. M. nach das Frühstücksbuffet, ich habe nichts vermisst. Als Besucher der Bregenzer Festspiele waren wir vom angebotenen Shuttlebus, welchem wir praktisch direkt gegenüber des Hotels zusteigen konnten, positiv überrascht.

Das Hotel liegt an der Durchgangsstraße etwas außerhalb der Stadtmitte, bis dorthin sind es etwa 10 Minuten Fußweg. Leider waren zur Zeit unseres Aufenthaltes das Restaurant und die Bar nicht geöffnet, darauf wurde aber auch im Vorfeld bereits hingewiesen.

Dat de bar en het restaurant gesloten waren. Zeker als je met de motor op reis bent en er maar 1 dag bent is het erg jammer dat je niet even wat kan drinken.

Hat mir sehr gut gefallen.

Beim Frühstück keine lange anstehen an den Kaffeeautomaten, weil 3 Maschinen zu Verfügung standen. Gute Auswahl, alles prima.

Nur eine kleine Anmerkung zum Frühstück: Wenn die Semmeln und Brötchen kleiner wären, dann könnte ich 2-3 verschiedene mal ausprobieren. So bin ich mit eine Brotstange vollkommen satt gewesen... :)

Ein tolles Haus zum Empfehlen!

Das Zimmer war aussergewöhnlich groß, modern ausgestattet. Das Hotel verfügt über einen großen gratis Parkplatz. Die Sauna steht kostenlos zur Verfügung, der Ruhebereich ist sehr groß. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Zentrum ist zu Fuss zu erreichen.
