Very large room, but design over functionality.

There is absolutely no way to hang up towels etc. We stayed only one night, but staying longer would be a problem. There is no sink at the toilet (and no bin to put in sanitary products) - one has to leave the toiket room and go into the glas shower to wash your hands. (And it might be exiting for young weds to watch your partner in the shower from thebed, but it lacks any privacy. Somehow, this place has put design over functionality. Btw., there is no airconditioning on the top floor with lots of windows, just two of these rather useless mobil units, with the pipes for the hot air have to be put through open doors to the balcony - noisy and idiotic.

There was a slight 'drain' smell in reception, on the Spa floor, and in my bathroom. It would have been nice if there had been a bath in the en suite bathroom. The lighting was harsh. It would be lovely to have a desk lamp and a softer lamp for the main studio living area.

Very good modern hotel

Very nice modern hotel, with a convenient parking lot right beside the hotel entrance and elevators to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. The in-room kitchens were relatively basic, but good enough to do the job. A very good place to stay if you are in the area.

Good location

The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was plentiful and varied. They also surprised guests with a small Easter gift at their doors, which was a thoughtful touch. The room had all the basic facilities expected from a 4-star hotel, including a kitchen and toiletries. On a positive note, the hotel waived the parking fee as compensation.

Unfortunately, we did not receive the room type we had booked based on the photos, and the complaint was handled only moderately well. The renovation work seemed to be done with moderate attention to detail. The underground parking garage was not convenient, and the surrounding area was noticeably dirty.

Worst night of my life. Could not sleep all night

Central location and friendly staff

Built in AC is disabled and replaced with loud and non effective stand alone AC units. They simply dont cool the room. When outside temp was 28 at night I had to try to sleep with fully opened window but the f…. Church Tower Clock bell was boinking every 15 minutes ALL night from 100 meters from the window!

very good accomodations for the Bodensee region

Very friendly staff! Very good breakfast with a large choice of cold and warm dishes/items. We rented e-bikes. They were in very good condition and at a good price. The hotel was designed by a well-known architectural firm from the region. Some details are a bit dated, but it has aged very well / has been maintained very well.

A couple of things were not so great. 1) The coffee from the automatic coffee makers (at breakfast/in restaurant) was really bad. The coffee was very weak/not aromatic...cappuccino tasted like water with milk, espresso just as bad. 2) The fan in the bathroom did not work, so it got steamed up really fast. Not a big deal...but 3) because of that one could see that the glasses in the bathroom were not new/clean. They had just been "wiped" and set back. :-(

Very good

Although there was an error in the rate and room type on the booking.com, the hotel manager on duty gave the room at the booking rate. Thank you! We needed to print a document urgently in the middle of the night and the duty manager, Mr OSCAR, went out of his way to deal with our special request, thank you very much. We will stay at your hotel again next time. The Hotel is very closed to the city center.

Very poor

The hotel's design is interesting and the location is very central with close proximity to restaurants and shops. The rooms have a great layout and the bathrooms are good.

Unfortunately the breakfast was not up to standard. The quality of the products was sufficient, however the food was always empty and replenishments took in excess of 20 minutes every time. The rooms were not cleaned properly with stained cups. In addition, the baby crib we received still had fluid from previous use on it... That was pretty disgusting. Despite most of the staff being friendly, the lady working at reception was rude and does not understand the basic concept of customer service.

Pleasant

The breakfast was small but very good.

We booked a room for 2 adults and 11 year old child. There was nothing for 3 in the room. A double bed only so no sofa or extra bed and towels for 2 so as if he was not even counted but he was in the booking of course.
