Literally a good last minute option at a half-decent price

Good location, central

Super cold room, complicated login system with a keypad that didnt work very well. Felt unsafe since the door doesn*t lock automatically. Insanely cold room and rather dated.

Good location, easy to check in and out, has shoe cleaning machine at the lobby, covenient door lock system - you don’t have to carry anything.

It was first hotel in my life where was no hot water!! and had to wash my head with cold. Wardrobes had no doors with hinge leftovers, chandelier with dead bulb and dust not cleaned from the very setup some decade ago, bedside lamp with broken cord sparkling electricity, mirror lamp without cover, bed linen was not comfortable and beds 180cm lenght - was I even in Germany?? Does the site have the owner??

It’s a decent haul away from everything in town, not by distance but because of the hill it sits on. Walking to and from not recommended. A stronger fan would’ve been nice, the heat wave in S. Germany hit when we arrived and the hotel was very hot.

There was no breakfast on offer. The Hotel is fairly quiet.

It was very difficult to get into the hotel. No staff were present. There was a punch-number key on the main door which was very difficult to use. The same for the room door. A proper key would be much better; or someone on duty at reception. Also the reading lights above the bed were inadequate.

Easy self check-in and it’s close proximity to a bus stop

The window blinds are so thin that light rays wake you up as early as 6 am. Not ideal if you plan to sleep longer.

No air conditioning, No free parking.

The staff were polite and kind.

First of all, "Das Kleine Hotel" couldn't have us, since they had some technical issue with our booked room. Therefore they transferred us to their partner hotel "Hotel De France", but the room in their partner hotel was much smaller than the room that was originally booked. The room was like a sauna, very stuffy. There was only a fan to cool the room, which was not enough at all. The mini fridge in the room wasn't even cool!

The room and bathroom was good and clean.

We arrived late and the room was cold. We turned the heating up but that seemed not to become hot. Not even when putting the heating to maximum for half an hour.

Quiet, cozy, clean rooms.

You get 2 codes for code locks on your room and the entrance, but there is no pen nor paper in your room. If your battery runs out, you're locked out with no staff on site. The property is a 15 minute brisk walk up a steep hill from the city centre. The mattress was the worst I had in a long time.

Perfect place to stay for the weekend

Very clean and quiet. Loved old fashioned room, but mattress was a bit worn, was lying in a dent. Other than that fabulous. Close to city centre and really great breakfast places around. We even walked from the train station and back, easy 30 minutes with loads to see.
