Over priced not welcoming do not recomend.

The room was a good size with a balcony, although not with the view we paid for.

Biggest complaint is the attitude of the staff. They were disinterested at best.

A perfect location - would come back if air conditioning was standard.

Location is fantastic.

At that room price to not have air conditioning in the room is highly questionable. Given the extreme temperatures during our stay, we spent a very warm night with no possibility to cool the room down other than leave the door wide open and invite the mosquitoes in for a buffet. Service on the terrace could be much faster.

Beautiful Beau Rivage

We had a double room, with a balcony that had a table and 2 chairs, overlooking the lake. The area is quiet and the view is exceptional. We were lucky that the weather was good, so we could sit outside and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were welcoming and friendly, providing a good service. The hotel was easy to find and the booking was straightforward. We had a room only and didn't use the Spa facilities as we were only there for 1 night. The restaurant is closed on a Wednesday evening. We utilised the garage, which was an extra 15 euros, however, there is plenty of parking on site. There is a fridge in the room, together with a TV, walk in shower, hairdryer, toiletries etc plus a separate toilet. The room was immaculately presented and the bed was very comfortable. People were sitting on the bar terrace, which was open to walk in customers and guests of the hotel. The area is flat, so walking into town would be very easy. This is a great place to stay.

We thought the room would have been better designed if the bed and TV were swapped around, so that you could see the lake when sitting in bed - a minor criticism!

Amazing 4 stars hotel on the shores of Gerardmer lake

I have booked this hotel a few months in advance because I wanted a hotel with SPA and close to the lake. 🤩🏞 Location 📍: The hotel is very well placed at the shores of Gerardmer Lake. It is easy to find on the way, it is very well placed, at a walking distance from shops, restaurants, and other interest points. Facilities 🛏 : The hotel offers nice cozy rooms with or without view to the lake. I have chosen a room with a stunning view to the lake and mountains 🏞. In the room you have a small fridge, a kettle, shower, toilet, and balcony. In the hallways, you will find water dispensers. The hotel has a private parking space 🚘 and a heated pool. You will receive a nice card holder with the access card for the room, the password for the internet, and the code to enter the building after 23:00. Extra services🪔: the hotel offers SPA services (sauna, hamam, jacuzzi🛁) for an extra charge and with reservation🕔. They also offer massage 👐 or beauty services through an external provider. You can also choose to take breakfast 🥞🥖🥚🍶☕️there for an extra charge. Every service that you opt for will be paid at the end of your stay. 👍👏 You can also choose to have dinner at their restaurant Cote Lac, whose menu📋 you will find in your room. The staff 👧: I have found the staff very respectful, helpful, welcoming, and ready to help with any information. They are always present at the front desk for any issue or question that you might have.👏👍🙏 After spending 3 nights there, I have to praise the quality of services (room, view, pool, spa), the kindness of the staff, and the quality and taste of the food served for breakfast that is produced there.

I only have two small complaints: - I didn't find the breakfast varied enough (I missed some vegetables) - the quality of the internet was very bad, at least in our room.

The door of the toilets was a sliding one, with gaps when closed which gives no privacy as the person sharing the room can hear or smell our businesses.

The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The bathroom was large with a spacious shower. shower gel etc provided along with good coffee and tea making facilities. Breakfast was delicious, so many options it was difficult to choose. stunning location, right on the lake.

we would have felt a bit better if the car park door had been closed in the evenings as we were traveling on a motorbike.

As a frequent traveller I have visited hundreds of hotels all over the world. Not sure how this hotel reached it‘s 4*-status. Dirty rooms & unpolite staff (greetings to the seater from the restaurant). We arrived around 8pm and wanted to visit the restaurant. Due to the fact that we travelled with our motorcycles we did not bring a tuxedo. Nevertheless, the restaurant was not crowded. 4-5 tables were occupied and the rest was available but the seater denied us the access to the restaurant. It seemed that we did not fulfill their dresscode which is not mentioned anywhere. Next point: English speaking staff should be obvious in a 4* hotel but no chance. Questions asked in English were answered in French. This is an absolute no-go.

Disapointed about the Hotel and their staff.

The location at the nice sea of gerardmer is really excellent and the old hotel has been refurbished over the last years. The Junior Suite was tall enough and the bed was for french uses ok.

At the price for the Junior Suite there should have been at least a mini-bar as the beautiful bar in the hotel was already closed at 10 pm, a little vit early if you want to make money. Further at the breakfast Buffet only one person on service, a little bit of mess on a holiday day as well as Pandemic. In the afternoon no terrasse opened, and they do have a beautiful one. all others around were open, so we went to another one.

La vue sur le lac, une salle petit déjeuner très jolie avec une vue magnifique, un buffet de qualité avec des produits variés. Des locaux parfaitement bien entretenus, parfait pour un séjour à la montagne.

Manque une machine à café dans la chambre et une bouteille d'eau non renouvelée chaque jour !
