Not enough space for 5 people. Showers were poor

It was good location to explore the local area - abbey hill.
I would have preferred accommodation closer to Ballyvaughan itself but the location was ok.

Very spacious living room area. The kitchen is big enough for basic cooking and you can eat in the living room with plenty space. The location was great and only a few min away from the sea.
The house wasn't soundproof at all and the upstairs bathroom hard to walk into as it is under the roof. Also, some things looked a bit used, but the value for money was good still.

Location was excellent for us, obtaining codes to get the keys was smooth and efficient.
Downstairs bathroom wasn’t the nicest. The instructions didn’t include that the hot water was on a timer so we worked this out ourselves after a few days. The kitchen blind was broken and couldn’t be opened and the upstairs bedroom blind was falling to pieces. It’s not the best layout of house but it was adequate enough for what we needed it for and if you aren’t a house full wanting to stay in and use the living room and dine comfortably together. It wasn’t dirty but could have done with a more thorough sweep and Hoover round and cleaning of touch points.

beds weren’t that comfortable. I think they need replacing

The fact that it had an en suite at two rooms and a bathroom for the other.

Location was excellent. Easy access to all the major attractions in the burren and West coast. Property was spacious and comfortable. Host friendly and communication was good
Fortunately didn't need it but couldn't quite work out what was going on with the heating system. Some instructions would be good.

No soap or sanitizer on premises supervisor became defensive when challenged about this. Threatening note demanding cleaning, why send a cleaning team in when guest are told in no uncertain terms that they have to clean or risk penalties! Ultimately being charged €30 each for my two spotlessly clean tiny dogs and this amount being demanded in cash - no use have a compliance with covid guidelines notice if you cannot adhere to the basics

It was clean and the bedrooms were spacious
It really annoyed us that the WiFi was not working and was still not working upon leaving the house.
I felt the kitchen was small and the living area was cramped especially having our meals it was very squishy around the table.

Location was great for exploring the Burren and was my first time staying near Ballyvaughan. We had fantastic weather and the Burren was brilliant. Fantastic food and service in Monks on the pier.

The cottage was immaculately clean, beds very comfy, Caroline our host was extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is great, about half way between Kinvara and Ballyvaughan.
We had a dog who really appreciated the space around our house (no 9) ... On a long lead of course. The little estate is very well kept with grassy areas and some biodiversity areas too.
The living space and kitchen are very compact 🙂. There really isn't room for 6 adults to gather to eat together. We were lucky that the weather was great so we ate outside on the picnic table
