Luxury Garni Hotel Brix

Very friendly staff, nice room, easy transport links to centre (bus stop outside hotel) and good calue breakfast

Not big issues but shower was over the bath and had to pay €20 for parking

The hotel is situated a little far from the center of Bratislava, yet there are many bus lines to go there from the bus stop in front of the hotel. There are some restaurants and supermarkets nearby. The room is spacious and comfortable. The buffet of the breakfast is awesome. The staff is friendly and helpful.

The water is not enough hot for the bathtub and the shower. Wifi is often slow.

Excellent value for money. Good staff. Comfy, sizeable beds.

Traffic can be loud on the side facing the main road so bring earplugs. Also nowhere to put the shower head for a traditional shower.

The room was very clean and well heated.

There was no hot water at night, which was a huge problem as we could not take a bath after a long day outside in the freezing cold weather. We addressed the problem and they told us that it was because the hotel was fully booked ,and the only solution was to wait for the water to be reheated. But even after 2 hours of waiting,it was not. We never spoke to the manager or offered a real solution. Also , the rooms were not sound proof, and the noise of the steps was very annoying.
