The mattress was awful. We had very bad sleep. They have to fix this issue. When you see the breakfast from the photos you expect to eat something local, however the cheese and the meat which were shown in the photos were not in the breakfast. Everything was from the supermarket. Either provide what you show in the photos or change the photos !! Apart from that the breakfast was quite big and good

Great stay and really good value for money for a solo traveller

Excellent buffet breakfast. Access to breakfast room throughout the day for drinks and snacks. Peaceful location with a garden view. Easy to reach from railway station. Guest card (Konus card) gave me free public transport (bus and train) in quite a large area of the Black Forest. Check in from 2 pm was ideal. Staff very friendly.

The location was excellent, very close to the center of Titisee, which made it easy to reach shops, restaurants, and the lake. Perfect for exploring the area on foot.

Great hotel near town

Second time we have stayed here and it was great. Friendly staff, nice rooms, close to town and safe parking for our motorbikes.

Exactly what I needed - met all my requirements perfectly.

Excellent value for money when compared with other hotels nearby. My single room was very clean and had everything I needed, the balcony was a lovely bonus! The breakfast was a buffet and fairly similar each day, but with a wide choice in the first place that was not an issue. The complimentary cold drinks and snacks throughout the day were especially welcome, as was the fridge reserved for guest use.

For some the decor may seem dated / traditional - not that I minded myself.

Easy check in, quiet location. 24 hour complimentary tea, coffee & snack station. Good breakfast you could help yourself to early, which is great for hikers. A lot of places don't start breakfast till 8am, which can be too late if you are walking a long daym

Nice short stay.

Close to downtown lake area with some parking right in front of hotel. Breakfast was good and we liked the hot beverages and snacks being available 24/7. The staff was very nice and accomodated us with a ground level room with a balcony.

Place is a little dated, but I knew that from reading other comments. Still, it's not that bad and it was clean. The town area around the lake itself is small and everything pretty much closes at 1800 with a few restaurants staying open 2000-2100. This was disappointing, but maybe it was still considered the off season and places stay open longer during summer.

Nice cozy rooms and breakfast.

The British host was very nice. The rooms and bed were reasonably large. The breakfast was plentiful and good. The Pebsion is 5 min walk from the beach of Titisee and all the restaurants there.

The owners were fantastic hosts! Very friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The accommodation was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was great, quite a large selection of delicious food. Location was very good and the surrounding landscape is really beautiful. Highly recommended and I would definitely stay again!!!

Very friendly staff. Rooms were extremely clean and beds and pillows very comfortable. Free refreshments available all day in the breakfast room. Parking available directly outside the front door. Short walk to the canteen of the village.

Warm welcoming guesthouse

It was so lovely when we arrived late at night to find there were free drinks on offer. A hot cup of tea was just so perfect. A good breakfast was served as well the next day. The room was clean and we had a reasonable sleep.

Comfortable rooms; friendly staff; great location. Would definitely visit again. Great hiking a short drive away, or just start walking from Titisee itself! Recommendations: Wutach Canyon; Todtnau Waterfalls. Note: if you are planning a holiday at Titisee, you should be aware that it is a quiet place, with almost all shops and restaurants closing relatively early and no real nightlife. For us, this was a BIG POSITIVE! But if you want to go clubbing until the wee hours, Titisee might not be for you.

Cozy Hidden Gem

The breakfast was freshly made every morning with a wide variety of options and the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again when we come back to the area.

The only thing that would have been helpful is more hooks to hang up wet ski gear to dry, but that is it.

The owners are very welcoming and they speak English. The room is comfortable and cosy, bed is comfortable and room is very clean. Very close to Titisee Lake, with parking available if you are with the car. Breakfast was a continental breakfast, good choice and very filling.
