The guesthouse offers a picturesque setting, spacious and clean rooms, a tasty breakfast

The guesthouse is beautifully located, offering a picturesque view over the fields and forests of the Black Forest region. The reception was very personal – with both its positive and less positive aspects. Our room was spacious, simply furnished, and spotlessly clean, equipped with all the essentials for a pleasant stay. Breakfast was satisfying and tasty.

The guesthouse is located at some distance from the city, and the Wi-Fi reception was very weak.

A peaceful Black Forest guesthouse with a friendly owner

In the heart of the Black Forest on outskirts of Titisee.Traditional German style furnishings. Room with a view and very peaceful. Great breakfast and an option for dinner at their sister hotel about a km walk away. The lady host was very friendly and helpful and her son even drove us back to our room after dinner so that we didn’t have to walk in the dark. Wonderful service. We were able to park our motorcycle underneath an awning. Great stay for motorcyclists.

On arrival you may have to contact owner by telephone to come and greet you. We were assisted by another guest with this process so it wasn’t really an issue for us but could be for those without knowledge of German language.

A remote getaway in the Black Forest with picturesque views

The location is beautiful and looks into the valley below. It’s a relaxing spot where one can get away from stress and worries. The facilities are simple but well maintained and charming. The owners and the staff are helpful and kind. Breakfast was the standard German fare but a good quality. I would stay here again.

Really good place to enjoy an amazing view and relax. The breakfast was super delicious, staff friendly, and their restaurant that is only 1km far gave us a pleasure to eat the best cordon bleu that we ever ate.Location is amazing!

Relax in the Black Forest

The guest house is located 10 minutes away from Titisee in a very quiet and relaxed environment. The hosts were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was superb. The hosts also own a restaurant 1 km down the road called Sallenhof which was also very good.

The services were perfect and the hosts were very kind. The apartment is surrounded by nature, the location is wonderful and one can see beautiful panoramas.

Outside the building there is a notice about check-in that is written in German only. It would be better to write that also in English.

The hotel is located in a quiet area and has a breathtaking view to the mountains and valleys. Our room was quite big and very well cleaned. The breakfast was also good with some salty and sweet varieties. The staff are super friendly. On our arrival we had a bottle of wine with. We asked the lady at the reception if we could put it in the fridge, she politely had to reject our request because of the hotel policy (because they sell wine in their restaurant) which I understand. We were anyway lucky because it was cold outside so we left the bottle on the balcony to cool it.

Accoglienza fantastica. Cordialità. Posizione centrale per visitare la Foresta Nera e le città principali (Friburgo, Colmar, Strasburgo, Tubinga, Stoccarda, Ulm). La possibilità di utilizzare il vicino ristorante (circa 1,5 km) che prepara ottima cucina tipica a prezzi moderati.

Posizione, a 10 minuti dal Baden Paradise di Titisee. All‘incirca 2 da Strasburgo.

Non siamo riusciti a dormire più di un ora. Cuscini che, se non ci fossero stati, sarebbe stato lo stesso, credo che investire 15 euro ad un cuscino economico del Lidl sarebbe stato sicuro più efficiente.

Ich hatte übersehen, dass der späteste Check-in um 20:00 Uhr ist. Als ich das bemerkte, war es schon 20:30 Uhr. Ich habe dann mit der Vermieterin telefoniert, und sie war so freundlich, auf uns bis 22:00 Uhr zu warten – das war wirklich sehr nett! Nach unserer Ankunft hat sie uns das Zimmer gezeigt und erlaubt, unser Abendessen in der Küche (wo man auch frühstückt) zu essen. Das Bett und die Decke waren sehr bequem, und es war angenehm warm in der Nacht. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet – besonders der Kaffee hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Wir wurden insgesamt sehr herzlich betreut.

Nichts! Die Lage ist etwas abgelegen, und es gibt keine anderen Hotels oder Menschen in der Nähe. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln ist die Unterkunft definitiv nicht erreichbar. Allerdings ist die Landschaft wunderschön, und es ist sehr ruhig dort. :-)
