Nice guesthouse located in vicinity of lake Tittisee

Ideally located 10min walk from the lake and 5min walk from restaurants and bars, in a very quiet neighbourhood. We liked everything about our accommodation in this nice simple guest house. Breakfast was nice and delicious. Rooms were big and spacious and clean, we read about the comments and knew exactly what to expect from our room. Some people mention train and church bells, it did not bother us, there was no noises during the night, we slept well with our windows opened whole night.

Everything was nice

Breakfast was really good and the position is very central. The staff is nice and they offer free bus tickets for going to the mountain.

When we went it was not possible to pay by credit card, but they said they will sort this out soon.

It exceeded our expectations, we will definately go again to Black Forest and stay to this hotel.

Good central location

The location was perfect and very central, 2 minute walk amd you are in the cemtre. Good amount of parking and very secure for our motorbike. The owner was very friendly and we used their free cycles to explore the whole of the lake.

The room is ready for a little modernisation and tlc. The balcony needs a.good clean and painting as the paint was all flaking off the railings. Quite a lot of cobwebs on the balcony and quite a few up high in the room, attention to detail is required when charging this price. Breakfast was basic but ok.

great host, wonderful experience

the location is good, close to the lake and to the train station, all in a short walking distance. my room is an attic and can sleep three people. in that sense it is too big for me as a solo traveler. but the size of the room for a person or two is just okay. it is on the top floor so you have all the quietness and absolutely no interruptions. the host is the best. Thomas suggested two hiking routes to me and they are fabulous. he is very nice. he gave me free food the first night when i was too late to buy any food when all restaurants were closed. he made my stay in Titisee a fabulous experience.

Very nice trip in this guesthouse

The guesthouse is very nice, we enjoy the room and the breakfast. We can park easily in back of the house. This is weel located ( 15 min by car to go skiing in the Feldberg).

Really nice welcome and everything perfect, cosy comfortable beds, super clean, quiet yet close to the lake and restaurants and the forest. Breakfast was even served in the room, all super nice!

Just fyi be sure you have some cash to pay the bill at the end and the double bed is 2 single mattresses together, which was all fine for us. We highly recommend!
