Great place

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a trip to the Black Forest. The staff are brilliant, especially the lady (apologies, I didn't catch her name) who runs the guesthouse and works very hard to ensure everything runs smoothly. Our German is very basic (we will try to learn more for next time!) but the staff made us feel very welcome. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, the food in the restaurant was delicious at both breakfast and dinnertime, and the "Ossos" beer brewed by the guesthouse was great. We would definitely come back when next in the area, the region is beautiful and would have loved to have stayed longer. Thank you!

Clean, comfortable, family friendly, good location, fantastic hospitality!

The restaurant on the bottom floor was so convenient and the food was very good. The provided breakfast had nice options, including fresh scrambled eggs. The is an alternate entrance on the back of the building to get to the rooms and bypass the restaurant. We had a family room. Entering the door from the hall you can see the main bed, closet, desk with mini fridge. The main bathroom had plenty of room and was clean. From the main door, turning right is the bedroom door for the kids room. It had a bunk bed, some closet, and half bath. There was enough room for us to set up a pack n play for our infant as well. The staff were all very attentive and treated us like family. From interacting with our young kids, recommending local attractions and activities, and genuinely having a conversation. The hospitality alone would make me want to return.

The parking was tricky. There are limited spots on site. There is a parking garage just up the road but our car was too tall. The hallway outside of the rooms could be noisy. We slept with sound machines because of the kids, but can imagine the noise to be disruptive for light sleepers. There wasn’t parties or anything crazy just the sound of people entering their rooms.

The staff was extremely nice. The terrace next to in had great food and the proximity was very convenient. Close to the train station. They provide the Schwarzwald Card. A lot of variety for breakfast.

Superb

The atmosphere warm and the staff are friendly and helpful. Location is good, for a supermarket is within three-minute walking distance. The dinner in the hotel is delicious.

It’s a little hard to drag a piece of medium-size luggage from the train station-neustadt- to the hotel. It’s a better idea to take the bus 7257 or 7261. The hotel is one stop away from the train station.

Good location if you’re looking for something in the midst of a tiny Black Forest village. lots of trekking and hiking routes start from nearby. Very good breakfast. friendly staff.

the cleaning lady was quite invasive, entered without knocking the door. the first night the room was very cold, since the heating was not working. not always easy to find a parking. Rooms on the first floor are a bit outdated vs the ones on the second floor.

Good hotel for a vacation in the Black Forest

Clean hotel with very friendly staff, and delicious and varied breakfast. We very much enjoyed the guest card included in the price of the room. Close to restaurants, a supermarket and the train station. Would stay again.

A historic building with all the things you need for a good rest in the centre of Schwarzwald.

Very nice breakfast. Kind service - the hotel employees were very helpful: helped us with reservation of attractions we wanted to see, showed how to get to the underground car park on one occasion when all the parking spots next to the hotel were full and gave us the keys to the car park. Plus they offered us the HochSchawarzwald card, explained how and where to use it (went to the Town Hall to get extra information for us). We really recommend the place.

Sehr schöner Kurzurlaub

Der Gasthof hat eine sehr zentrale Lage,Bushaltestelle direkt am Hotel,der Bahnhof ist 5 Minuten entfernt. Sehr nettes Personal und das Frühstück ist sehr gut. Eierspeisen und Waffeln werden immer frisch zubereitet.Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen.Das selbst gebraute Bierwar auch sehr lecker.

Die Zimmer sind sehr schön, gemütlich, sehr sauber und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Personal ist extrem freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Gasthof lädt ein zum verweilen und das Bier ist grandios:)

Toller Aufenthalt im Schwarzwald

Angenehmes Zimmer mit guter Ausstattung. Das Frühstück war toll, Buffet mit allem, was man sich wünscht. Die Eierspeisen werden jeweils frisch zubereitet, top. Die Unterkunft liegt nahe beim Bahnhof (ca. 10min zu Fuss), und es gibt sogar eine Bushaltestelle vor der Tür. Das Restaurant bietet gutes Essen am Abend, ist zu empfehlen. An Wochenenden mit Feiertagen würden wir jedoch empfehlen, zu reservieren (einfach am Morgen beim Frühstück sagen).

Die Lage an der Hauptstraße ist etwas suboptimal, allerdings gute Dämmung der Fenster. Die Straße ist Durchgangsstraße des Ortes und deshalb tagsüber gut befahren. Die Parkplätze sind allerdings gut und einfach zu erreichen.

Außerordentlich freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Höflichkeit und Service wird hier groß geschrieben. Die Zimmer waren komfortabel und sehr sauber. Das Frühstück lecker und vielfältig. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Sehr schönes Zimmer, gute Ausstattung, sehr sauber. Sehr freundliches Service-Personal, Parkplätze vor dem Haus, zentrale Lage, gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

Zimmerservice kommt recht früh ins Zimmer (09:15-10:30). Auch am Tag des Check-Outs. Man sollte also an das „nicht stören-Schild“ denken, falls man ausschlafen möchte.

Geschickte Lage für Motorradfahrer

Super Hotel, große komfortable Zimmer, bestens für Motorradfahrer geeignet. Frühstück mit großer guter Auswahl, Ei bzw. Rührei wird frisch zubereitet. Abendessen lecker, hauseigene Bier sehr empfehlenswert. Bushaltestelle nahe am Hotel, Bus mit Gästekarte gratis z.B. ins Badeparadies möglich

El trato y que el hotel era muy familiar. A, y el restaurante. Desayuno con no tantas opciones como los super buffet libres pero mucho mejor, mucha más calidad y mejor servicio. Y luego las cenas geniales y bien de precio
