Great stay, especially if you’re travelling to Amsterdam for the first time. Convenient location to many attractions and walkable to many food spots. Highly recommend this hotel :)

This hotel small but beautiful and clean. We were a mother/daughter couple and thought the rooms were done nicely. We had a room facing the canal on the second floor. Lots of light but there are blackout curtains so you can make the room dark at night. While my daughter didn't wake up - I was awoken by some of the revelers coming home on the streets in the middle of the night but it wasn't too bad. If you can get a higher floor then do request it. Free coffee all day in the lounge (photo). the room itself is small but not tight - furniture and carpets/bedding all are updated too! I'd definitely stay again!

We had a fantastic stay at Dikker&Thijs in Amsterdam! The hotel's location is unbeatable, not only is it right in the Heart of Amsterdam, on a canal and situated right next to a tram station which made getting around the city both easy and enjoyable. A big shoutout to the Hotel Manager Rowdy, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was the most comfortable and great. The rooms were not only spacious but also beautifully decorated, providing a comfortable and luxurious feel. The staff were consistently friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Every aspect of our stay was great, from the cleanliness to the attentive service. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Dikker&Thijs to anyone visiting Amsterdam!
