The property is closely situated to the canals and walkable to Jordaan, de Pijp, RLD, Vondelpark, etc. Staff were helpful at check in and check out. Especially appreciated Karmel helping with my bag at check out!
Really heed the warning that the property does not have an elevator and the stairs are steep.

The decor was simple and tasteful. Everything clean, comfortable, nice bed linen. Great location! Keycard system felt very safe. Nice staff!
The only complaint is we had some construction noise in the mornings, not sure if hotel can do much about it. Would love a mini fridge in the room and also a full length mirror (even just those IKEA mirrors on the wardrobe door would be ideal!) would be so handy! Otherwise, all v nice!

We had chosen the hotel for it's proximity to the Paradiso as we were attending a concert. We ate and drank locally and there was plenty of choice.
We were aware that the hotel did not have a lift but were honestly not expecting the stairs to be so steep and curved. It made carrying bags up and down extremely difficult. Our party of 4 were all in our 60s and 70s and we managed but we are all pretty fit. The bathroom was adequate but very small.
