Would stay again

Great location, beautiful property, pool was a plus and convenient to have restaurants and bars around. So easy to catch the lift to the top for a beautiful view and nice lunch. Safe parking

Staff may still have been in training, so hopefully service has improved. Sauna opening times were a little inconvenient but you cat please everyone 😊

Nothing really maybe a couple of more desert options on the lodge menu we preferred the selection menu in the lodge we did use the adjoining restaurant but didn’t have that much on the menu

A great stay all year round, and you can enjoy your stay even in bad weather conditions

The staff was very helpful and provided solution for every request we had. All the amenities the hotel provide are great but as we just spent a night while making a round trip we couldn't enjoy them to full extent, but it really worth to stay longer and enjoy what the hotel can offer. So even if the weather is the limiting factor to do your outdoor activity you are most probably coming here, you will not feel you stuck within the four walls of your room. The price during this off-season period was a real bargain.

Beautiful hotel in Ellmau

The property was at a great location to go explore. Right next to e-bike rental and gondola. Amazing heated pool and live music at night on the patio. We loved our stay.

Our favorite spot ! Perfect hotel next to the lift with outdoor swimming pool and great lobby- restaurant. We love the area and people working here.

Baby cot which are charged 15€ per day should be equipped with better quality mattress. Not the paper one.

I am really disappointed with the service.

The receptionist charged us 169 EUR, when we complained she realised there was miss-understanding. I had to ask for refund the money which was already paid (169 EUR). In the end she discovered, they forgot to charge us the city taxi and called me, when we already left the country. I find it absolutely unacceptable to ask someone for their credit card details over the phone. When I asked to send the payment details to my email, I was refused and the receptionist made me to tell her all the details from the credit card. The worst part of it all is that the whole misunderstanding was the receptionist's fault.

Exceptional

Amazing clean and beautifully designed facilities in the middle of an Alpine village, right next to a gondola lift that takes parents, kids and even dogs up to the mountain, where there are splendid playgrounds and cafes. There is a lovely hall with TV and fireplace and panoramic windows, a small outdoors pool with seating and hammocks all around it. Parents can order light snacks and drinks next to the pool. The hotel welcomes dogs. There is also parking and a sports shop, more bars and restaurants within waling distance.

Most staff do not speak English, but they try to understand what you want :)

Very good stay again, a very little complaint this time

nicely furnished, love the wooden style. nice outside area as well, good drinks and free parking in the garage.

This time there was a larger group (approx. 20-25 people) of Bayern Munich fans in the hotel, probably celebrated some kind of jubilee of their fan club. They were very noisy and we did not have the feeling that the hotel was calming them down or asked them to be more quiet. In the end, we left the bar and took our drink to the room. I would not expect such kind of groups in this hotel.

A fantastic and warm welcome in a stunning location, we will definitely go back

Not only was the actual building well designed but the wellness facilities (sauna and pool) were exceptional. Havjng a sauna with a view is certainly a better experience than sitting in a dark box The hotel was very clean and couldn’t be faulted, in fact there were always staff cleaning something the rooms were well designed and the Nespresso machines were a nice touch, but you can ask for a kettle if you need it- in fact any extras were readily available on request. one big plus was the sound proofing, there are several popular bars close by but with the windows shut you cannot hear them at all

If you stay in the main building (above the bar) then you have to make use of the boot room in the adjacent buildings the bar menu (in terms of food) is very limited but the breakfasts in the hotel were ideal if you wanted something light. the restaurant that is a stones throw from the hotel has a bigger menu (and the breakfast buffet is extensive for the price)

Location great ski in ski out, Ski hire etc right there on sight very slick, ski passes were purchased from reception very convenient.

Sauna is quite small and gets crowded very easy. Water from swimming pool could be hotter during winter time. And the worst was the staff from Grill & Bar, twice we were there and waitresses were very rude…

Bad

The hotel is good and beautiful, it is next to the ski lift. But the rooms are small and there is glass door to the toilet ( There was a problem. From a special ski storage room (located in the hotel) were stolen professional ski boots. The staff refused to help, refused to call the police. It's very disappointing

Nice hotel with some weak points

new state of the art hotel.

the ways are very long and no help for laguages from Service. Even not a cart available. The bar was ambitiously but can not make any good cocktails. just mainstream. Also no food after 10pm, even not a small snack. The service need to follow guest and not the guest need to follow service. All this points separate the tirol lodge from a rather good hotel, from a very good hotel.
