Apartment Kamino Old Town

Owner is very helpful and shared dinner and sightseeing locations with us.

A little hassle to have to bring our luggage up.

Super easy to get to (no stairs, only up to appt within building, none on the walk to appt), clean, good location, kind host and great ammenities!

nothing

Muy simpática la propietaria, os dejo detalles, mapas y nos dio muchos tips para disfrutar el viaje

This place is all about location! If you want to be close to everything, you stay here.

We came on a Saturday- after 9 pm. I felt like it was inconvenient for the person who met us (don't remember her name). She gave us a very swift tour of the apartment before she left, so we had to figure most things out ourselves. She was very helpful when I had questions later in the week (via WhatsApp). The apartment is a good size, we were 3 persons. The stairs are a workout in itself (approx. 40 steep steps)- so if you have trouble with your hips and/ or legs, I would not recommend the apartment. There are several other apartments in the building and it can get very noisy! Especially from the top floor. Heavy "banging" when they walked across the floor. There are hardly any coat racks in the apartment- I missed this. Very few hangers in the closets. The duvets are made from a polyblend material. Made us feel quite "sticky" when the humidity was high. You have to provide for yourself in the apartment- soap, toiletpaper etc. I was under the impression that this was included in the price. You also have to empty the trash yourself (and dispose where?). The maid comes once during your stay to change sheets and towels. The common area is not what I would call cosy. A high dining room table, too many chairs. And the smallest couch ever. The pressure in the shower has to be adressed! It was terrible. I could hardly wash my hair. I paid 1350 Euros for one week stay (late September- to early October). As you might understand from my review, for the price, I expected more of this apartment.
