Charming, beautiful, immaculate 1920's home in downtown Austin, with views of city skyline and capital. Sleeps 6 comfortably, with great kitchen, multiple fabulous decks, and quiet, relaxing back yard. 2 full bedrooms +bonus room w/ Murphy bed (sleeps 6) and 2.5 baths. HD television upstairs and down and WIFI. This home is walking distance to fun shops, a yummy bakery, many fine restaurants, Whole Foods and Lady Bird Lake. (And, just in case you need it, there’s a Superman suit in the phone booth closet!) I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. We came to Austin to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday with another couple (4adults in the home). This house is gorgeous and in an EXCELLENT location. You feel so comfortable - like you are staying with family. Every part of that home tells a story about the owners and Austin. Gems and surprises at every turn. Speaking of the owners, they are kind, generous, and accommodating. We never felt lost or alone in any way. The views from the home in the evening are spectacular. In truth, I was hesitant to rent a home in lieu of a hotel, but moving forward, should I ever find myself in Austin again, I will surely be asking to stay here! It is a MUST.

Lovely home - a combination of personality and interest and comfort. The kitchen/dining/den area is particularly nice spot to spend time. We were here for my Mom’s 90th birthday celebration and family that had travelled were able to stop by and visit here, have a bit and spend some time. Perfect setting.

My coworker and I stayed here during the SXSW festival this year. It was absolutely perfect. Aside from just being stunning, the house was immaculate - the owner even left us a welcome basket! I wanted to live there as soon as I walked in.Quick list of why we loved it: clean, safe, quiet, easy distance to downtown ($6 Ubers! for SXSW, we had no trouble going back and forth.) There's also a strip of restaurants even closer, which we unfortunately just did not have the time to check out. The beds are super comfortable, there are decks and patios galore, complete with a stunning view of Austin. It's clearly a chef's kitchen, with every appliance or item you'd need. Dana and the owner made booking our stay, getting in, and completing the reservation seamless. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
