Piccola Navona Roof Garden

Where do I start! From the moment we arrived in the cute lift to the 5th floor of this beautiful old building, and were greeted by the lovely Sonia, we knew we were in for a great stay. Sonia welcomed us warmly and gave us a guided tour of the hotel. When we entered our room we were welcomed with a cold bottle of Spumante which was lovely. The room was comfortable with a great view. We were provided with little extras like snacks, eye masks and ear plugs and herbal teas which was a lovely touch. The choice of mattress was a welcome treat as well, it’s the small things that make all the difference. Each morning we were presented with a wonderful selection from the breakfast buffet, and had eggs and bacon cooked to order. Afternoon tea was provided each afternoon free of charge and there is a cute little rooftop garden where you can sit to enjoy this, or end your evening up there with your own BYO drinks, just magical. When we left Alberto kindly organised our transfer to the airport and presented us with a little farewell gift to remember them by. During our stay, Alberto also offered us some great ideas of places to visit that aren’t so touristy which was so kind of him. All in all, this was my best stay in Rome having been 3 times previously, and to be honest one of the nicest stays in a hotel in years, and we travel a lot. Highly recommend this property if you want a genuine, quality stay.

Location Location Location and the wonderful staff

A lovely small boutique hotel in the heart of Rome. Step behind the huge wooden antique doors to find a lovely small (only 7 guest bedrooms) hotel located on the fifth floor of this building. A beautiful breakfast/ breakout area is available for guests at all times, as well as a peaceful rooftop garden with views over Rome, including up to the magnificent gardens of the Villa Borghese. A delicious breakfast is provided by staff each morning, with plenty of choices available, and cakes and snacks, as well as tea and coffee making facilities are available for guests at all times. The staff, Alberto, Katerina and Ellie are friendly, attentive and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. We really enjoyed our stay there, and hope to get back there soon.
