Eldorado Lodge

Location: Excellent location, ideal for its close proximity to the Etosha gate, making it convenient for safari trips.

Wildlife Enclosures: We were deeply saddened to find wild animals (leons, cheetahs, leopards) kept in fenced enclosures on the property. The explanation provided—that they crossed into the farm and were kept due to bureaucratic/financial hurdles to release them—was unconvincing and left us uncomfortable. Overpriced & Lacking Charm: The room felt very basic, with poor lighting, completely lacking warmth or character. Given the high price charged, the overall value and atmosphere fell far short of expectations. Dining & Service: The dinner was just acceptable, but nothing special. Staff had limited English proficiency, making communication difficult at times.

No internet nor tv in the rooms… they could place at least some board games. Animal feeding is too expensive!

Our third visit. Warm Namibian hospitality, great Namibian farm cooking. Rooms immaculate and staff very helpful and friendly. Always a highlight on our Namibian trips
