Very warm, friendly welcome from the host. Only stayed 1 quick night but the breakfast was awesome. Nice to have other guests to chat to for a change.

Everything! This is an old house and has beautiful decoration and furnishings to match the period, which really appealed to me. The room and the bed were very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfasts, probably the best we have ever had! We also appreciated the home made cake, apple juice and our friendly, welcoming host. It is also an excellent location in the centre of Bishop's Castle.

Beautiful room and bathroom. Cake waiting for me which I've never had before. Everything was amazing and just what I needed after a week working on a kids camp.

Good lounge, with encouragement to use it. A number of small ‘extras’ which cumulatively added greatly to comfort and the feeling of being valued as a guest - e.g. a bar of soap in addition to the array of liquid cleansers; the variety of cereals and jams, the ready willingness to procure some full-fat milk. And overall a generous spirit.
Well, ideally, the top halves of some at least of the sash windows should have been lowerable, to allow for ventilation even during periods of rain.
