Good base to explore Baden Baden, train links to Strasbourg

Close to town, very quiet at night. Room had mini fridge, microwave and tea coffee station with cutlery, cups, plates, and bowls available. Housekeeping stored our suitcase for 6 hours free of charge.

The location was great- it was quiet, safe with beautiful grounds. It very close to an Italian cafe.

The beds in room#4 were not as comfortable as room #14 which were excellent size and comfort/firmness.

An excellent stay in a beautiful town.

Decor was in good taste. Off street parking was great. Location; 5 minutes walk to the centre of town, and two mini supermarkets just around the corner, only a couple of minutes stroll from Lichtentaler Allee. The area in which the apartment was located was very nice.

The lack of a conventional kitchenette and especially having to wash dishes in bathroom sink.

relaxing and fulfilling stay in beautiful place

The villa is in a walking distance from the city center and Caracalla SPA. It is located in a nice quite area and is surrounded by tall trees which only add privacy. In the mornings we walked into the city center to drink a cup of coffee and eat fresh hot pastries. The host was very responsive and helpful. All in all, we spent there a few relaxing days. Would love to come back one day.

Stay at the facility ( not at the main house) was ok, but still high priced!

Parking situation was terrible. Also the room in the guesthouse nearby was ok but not brilliant. I guess a room at the main house is better.

Not happy!

They cancelled my reservation the day of our arrival without providing an other option. We struggled to find another hotel for the weekend and ended-up in a bad hotel. Very disappointed.

Our Favorite Stay in Baden-Baden

We visit Baden-Baden regularly, as we have friends living there and truly enjoy the city. Over the years, we’ve stayed in various places — hotels, apartments, and guesthouses — but Villa Lutwitz stands out as our absolute favorite. We’ve already stayed there several times and always had a wonderful experience. The host, Marina, is exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful — always available whenever we need her. The villa’s location is ideal: just a short walk from the city center and the park, yet in a peaceful and quiet neighborhood. There is also convenient on-site parking, which makes everything even easier. The rooms are in a beautiful historic building with high ceilings and elegant details, yet everything has been completely renovated. It perfectly combines classic charm — with its old-style décor and curtains — and modern comfort, with updated bathrooms, closets, and infrastructure. Villa Lutwitz is without doubt one of our favorite places in Baden-Baden, if not the favorite. We’re already looking forward to returning.

There’s really nothing we didn’t like. On the contrary, everything was perfect — from the location and the comfort to Marina’s warm hospitality. Each stay has been a real pleasure.

Cute spot outside of the city center

Location was great. Less than ten minutes from the heart of Baden Baden.

The room was clean and so was the bath room. My only problem was the bed, wasn't as comfortable for two people.

Close to the park and free parking

We were arranged in the small white house in the back, not advised in the website. There were mosquitoes in the room and I got a few bites, quite annoying.

Beautiful property and would definitely stay again!

Beautiful property in a nature setting. Location is a super quick walk into the city center. Staff was helpful and accommodating to help with our laundry needs.

There were people smoking directly under our window, which wouldn’t have been so bad except it was hot and humid and there is no AC so we needed the windows open for fresh air. The cigarette smoke went directly into our room. I would suggest smoking to not be allowed so close to other guests rooms.

We enjoyed the easy stay in our room. The facilities were well thought through and despite small hiccups all went smooth

Good facilities incl. fridge and necessary cutlery for two. The distance to the city center was shorter than we had expected which was a great surprise.

The locks to the building and apartment were not easy to use. The downstairs locksystem was expensive but it didn’t open or close easy. A couple of times the downstairs main door to the building was open when we arrived to the apartment. Maybe due to closing difficulties..

Good location. The appartment is well equipped with key essentials. Washing machine is definately a big plus for a family with kids. Coffee machine. Free parking.

Difficult to adjust water temperature in the shower. The toilet carpet was pretty smelly. Per agreement with the host it was removed-so, the issue was solved .The shower head holder was not working properly-had to hold it in hands which made it difficult for kids to manage.
