Aqua Breeze Apartments

The apartment is very nice, seems newly renovated and furnished, clean and well maintained. We were able to park in the designated spots in front of the hotel (5 euro a day which is a very decent fee and I recommend you to use it, because parking is big problem in Budva). Keep in mind that all payments (stay, parking, city tax) are paid in cash! The father of one of the owners was there at the time and he was the one who gave us the keys on the first day, and gave us some excellent advice on the parking in the nearby cities (Kotor, Perast, Dubrovnik), and we are extremely grateful to him for this! The location of the property is good, around 7-10 minutes walk from the old town, there are some supermarkets nearby, and generally it's well connected. We liked our stay and we are happy with the property in general.

One small thing was bugging me from the first day. I am not going to drop from the rating because of this, I still think it's a great place to stay and great value for the money, but... When we asked the owner for a shower gel, the answer was "we are a small family hotel, we don't offer such". I have been to many countries, stayed in all kinds of places. Never ever have I seen an accommodation without a shower gel. It's simply a basic thing, and not too expensive either. There was a liquid soap for the sink, which we eventually used on our first day and then just bought a shower gel, but I simply don't understand why you would have a property at the seaside, where it is only natural that people would definitely shower often, and you don't provide a basic thing like shower gel. The other thing, again related to the bathroom - but it might have been only in our room - the hanger for the shower head was removed, meaning you can't leave it on the wall, you just have to hold it with 1 hand at all times while you shower. And the ladies would understand me here - that's veery inconvenient for washing your hair (which, again, is a natural activity for a seaside resort). Anyway, this by no means aims to say the property was not good! No! We enjoyed our stay, we liked the place and location, (we are super grateful to the dad for his parking tips), but these small details are things that could simply make the guests life easier, if considered for the future.

The location is ideal! A good supermarket is just behind the corner and it takes less than 10mins to walk to the harbor / old town. Nice beach, Mogren Beach, is 15min walk away. Bus station was Also 15min walk away to the other direction. Communication with host was easy, and we got answers to our questions quickly by messages. The Wi-Fi and air conditioner were good.

The fridge was pretty small. The kitchen had all the most important necesseries, but equipments were a bit limited (no siccors, a few good knives).

Very nice accommodation in a good location and, above all, at a great price. Upon arrival, we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who familiarized us with everything and warned us about local tourist traps. He also spoke English very well and was funny.

Unfortunately, we encountered one major problem, which was communication with the lady, which did not work at all. We had a problem with the sink, which was constantly leaking and there was water everywhere around it, and the response to this message and this problem has not been resolved to this day. I was also confused when I could only pay in cash, and on top of that, there was a tourist tax, which I only found out about afterwards, but I could have probably found that out myself in advance for future visitors. Furthermore, in the description and on the paper in the accommodation, where there is information about the accommodation, it states that there is daily cleaning of the accommodation, but not once in three days did anyone come to clean, so our trash piled up and we had nowhere to put it (there were no extra trash bags either), so we had to take everything out ourselves when we left to the trash cans about 100 meters away. Otherwise, I highly recommend the accommodation, but I would really appreciate it if communication could be improved and messages could be answered quickly, because that would solve all the problems :)

Very helpful host and gave suggestions. Quick response of messages. The location is good, transport & supermarkets are nearby. Parking available.

The apparent is on the 4th floor and there is no lift. We had 4 large bags and had terrible time to get the bags to the apparent and then to get them down at checkout.
