Characterful, cosy property in a quiet location with superb hosts.

Colourful, characterful, cosy property in a peaceful location, with off-street parking. The property was well-equipped, even had an air fryer, and plenty of cutlery and crockery for the three of us. Pascal and Fred were wonderful hosts (they live on the other side of the courtyard) and spoiled us with numerous treats - including homemade jams, brownies and biscuits and local cheese and wine - yet didn't intrude. Plus a friendly cat, what more could you ask for?

Not really a negative, more something to bear in mind - the stairs to the bedrooms are very steep with narrow steps and the bathroom is downstairs - may be an issue if, like me, you have mobility and/or balance problems.

beautiful place to stay. entering the courtyard felt like coming home. close to the castles and nice places. we liked the friendly cats and the vegetable garden and the big tree. we slept really well.

Lovely holiday home in the Loire Valley

We loved every minute of our stay at Au Coeur de la Cour. The apartment was cosy, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and well equipped, and we thoroughly enjoyed using the jacuzzi and interacting with the cats. Pascal and Fred were wonderful hosts, and showered us with local products and self-made goodies. We really felt welcome and at home at Au Coeur de la Cour, and only wish that we could have stayed longer.

Place of our dream

Au Coeur de la Cour is a place of our dream. Everything was just magic. We arrived quite late and Pascale has prepared a very tasty dinner for us. He advised a lot of local places, where to eat, what to see. The apartment and the garden are super clean, cozy and beautifully decorated. It is a quiet, friendly place with good energy. Breakfast on a sunny terrace, walk to Chenonceau, dinner by the river, jacuzzi in the evening. This was really great. We would like to return and stay in this cheerful house longer and meet Pascal again. Thank you so much for everything!

Cute holiday home

The hosts Pascal and Fred are very friendly and speak very good English. They have gone above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The house was clean, very well equipped and very cozy. The front garden/courtyard was available for us to use and always has some shade and sun during the day. We enjoyed our week here!

Un gîte plus que parfait

Un grand merci à Pascal pour son accueil et les petits gestes qui vont avec, nous n'en attendions pas autant. Le lieu est décoré avec goût. Le gîte est confortable bref que du positif avec des petites attentions de la part de nos hotes tres sympathiques. Nous pensons y retourner d ailleurs avec plaisir pour découvrir les lieux en velo. Non loin du zoo et des châteaux de la Loire, l emplacement est idéal. Merci à vous 2.
