If you love animals then you must stay here and support the amazing work Prashanth does. Prashanth is inspiring, he cares for his own 30+ animals plus the stray cats and dogs of Trincomalee. The rooms at Alass Ga for pet lovers are clean and comfortable and the location of the accomodation is central. Everyday you wake up to beautiful cats. You get very attached to the cats as you become familiar with their individual personalities and their backstories. Prashanth is very kind and nothing but accommodating. If you stay here, you will have a smile on your face everyday as you’re surrounded by beautiful cats and are supporting Prashanth who is a beautiful human being.

Loved this place! Our first stay in Sri Lanka, and we were welcomed by a host of tiny kitty cats and dogs that are rescued and live here. This place is heaven for pet lovers. The pets are friendly, warm and very well cared for. Shout out to our generous host Prashanth who has done an incredible job of caring for these beautiful souls and took care of us very well. I wish we could stay longer here. Truly, a memorable stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great with access via walking to many restaurants and beaches nearby.

We love cats so that was a plus. Go and give My Shayla love - she is a purr machine. The owner is dedicated to animals and an interesting person who makes time for his guests. His mum cooks great food in the restaurant next door. Rooms comfy and clean. Great location.

We absolutely loved our stay at Alas Ga for Pet Lovers! As soon as you walk in you’ll see the beautiful cats lounging about who want to greet you and say hello. Everything is well kept, clean, and rooms have everything you need with A/C and fans. But the best part is all of the beautiful cats you get to spend time with. We originally planned to stay here for four nights but ended up extending our stay for a week because we absolutely loved it so much. Prashanth has the kindest heart and genuinely just wants to help these cats and kittens which have no where else to go. He is looking after the cats, feeding street dogs in Trincomalee and in the forest area, and paying out of his own money to get dogs and cats sterilised. It’s so nice to know that by staying here you can help him continue this kind work. We felt so welcomed and comfortable in the guest house here, it began to feel like a home away from home. By the end of the of our stay we were sad to leave, as it was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed in throughout years of travel, and our hearts felt so full. If you love animals I would 1000% recommend staying here. Zero complaints, just love. We are already missing the cats and are planning when we can come back to stay here again! ❤️
