Alass Ga For Pets Lovers

We absolutely loved our stay at Alas Ga for Pet Lovers! As soon as you walk in you’ll see the beautiful cats lounging about who want to greet you and say hello. Everything is well kept, clean, and rooms have everything you need with A/C and fans. But the best part is all of the beautiful cats you get to spend time with. We originally planned to stay here for four nights but ended up extending our stay for a week because we absolutely loved it so much. Prashanth has the kindest heart and genuinely just wants to help these cats and kittens which have no where else to go. He is looking after the cats, feeding street dogs in Trincomalee and in the forest area, and paying out of his own money to get dogs and cats sterilised. It’s so nice to know that by staying here you can help him continue this kind work. We felt so welcomed and comfortable in the guest house here, it began to feel like a home away from home. By the end of the of our stay we were sad to leave, as it was truly one of the best places we have ever stayed in throughout years of travel, and our hearts felt so full. If you love animals I would 1000% recommend staying here. Zero complaints, just love. We are already missing the cats and are planning when we can come back to stay here again! ❤️

We really loved this stay! Prashanth is a lovely person doing wonderful work for the animals. We stayed up chatting to him one night which was great! This was the best sleep we had put whole trip as we just felt super comfortable and at home! We fell in love with one of the kittens and she even slept on our bed one night 😻 The location is really good and a great area if you want time on the beach or seeing dolphins!

Breakfast was interesting with local dishes offer, I love them. And the overall atmosphere was very welcoming and comfortable. They have customers staying herể for months. A real local life experience.

This is heaven for pet lovers!! This place is filled with cute and very very sweet cats 🥹 Everything is clean especially the room! The owner, Prashanth and his wife are very kind people, the staff are warm and nice. I love supporting people who do good things for their community - especially the ones who need it the most. In Sri lanka, not everyone cares for the cats and dogs which is very sad. But Prashanth does his best to help and give them hope 🥹 Truly a one of a kind man, so if you are looking for a place in Trinco, consider this homestay — it would add a meaningful purpose to your journey. I loved every bit of my stay in Trincomalee and this homestay really made it very special. 🤍
