Very welcoming host, brilliant hot tub

Hot tub was perfect, size of the property, information provided, peace and quiet

One of the beds is slightly shorter than a normal single so didn't properly fit an adult, and the amount of large potholes along the access road.

Relaxing, peaceful, perfect weekend stay

Great stay, perfect quiet location within a half hour walk of the city centre or local pubs. Very dog friendly, garden areas are completely fenced in so you have no need to worry about them escaping. Debbie (the host) has dogs herself so has no concerns about any barking. Debbie is also a great host living next door. We needed a couple of tea bags, and they arrived within a minute. Plenty of local advice on hand, and always there to help.

Nothing to complain about at all, was a great stay all round.

A PERFECT weekend property out of the city.

Host and facilities truly exceptional, my friends and I (4 of us total) absolutely loved the clean, well designed and looked after property. Hot tub was wonderful too. Host was incredibly friendly, helpful, and ever-available. Excellent communication. 10/10, would return any time!

we went to celebrate my 28th birthday. There were four of us. We had so much fun having a glass of bubbly in the hot tub

everything was clean beautiful placed spacious and well kept. The whole experience was beautiful. The property had its very own nature reserve and was very picturesque.

Not a big deal but the TV didn't have the option to "smart view / stream" from phone. Could be that the tv was an old model that didn't support this feature. It didn't bother us at all since we had a laptop to watch netflix.

this place is amazing 🤩 it’s only 1 mile from the city centre yet you feel your in the middle of nowhere, it’s so relaxing ! the hot tub area is beautiful especially at night when it’s lit up! the garden area is very neat and tidy with wood for the fire pit, it’s such a beautiful place and private.

Lincoln Retreat - a place not to be missed!

What an amazing gem. The lodge was cosy with every convenience needed. A bottle of bubbly and ice in the freezer on our arrival was brilliant. The garden and hot tub with mood lighting was fabulous, as well as an array of seating areas and a firepit that toasted our marshmallows to perfection. The bed in the master bedroom was glorious and the twin room was perfect for our daughters. Plenty of room for our family of 4 and dog! Debbie the host was wonderful and helped us find out way around the area recommending local attractions in walking distance of the area. Nothing was too much trouble, she is an absolute star. Lincoln Retreat is a place not to be missed, a perfect oasis to relax and recharge. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we'll be coming back soon.
