The locations was superb

There was a lot of noise late at night and early morning from the other residents

This is a great location right in the front gate of the Diocletian palace, so it is very easy to find and is not in the middle of the noisy part. We had a compact twin room with everything we needed for 1 overnight stay.l, includojg a kettle, fast wifi, aircon, TV and a decent shower. The staff very helpful and kept in touch by WhatsApp to make sure we had everything we needed.

As explained, the room is at the top of a narrow, 3 storey staircase - built into a 1800 year old Roman gate! You could not climb this with big suitcases or carry small children up it! The room itself has no particular character but you book it for the location.

The owner/host Vlatka was so nice! If you want to stay in a historic, unique location this room is for you! The room was literally in the walls of the palace. It was clean and comfortable. The AC worked great! Great experience!!!

Really interesting location, very close to the port and smack in the middle of Diocletian's Palace. The host and her husband were very responsive and accommodating. The room had some nice thoughtful treats in the cupboard which we appreciated. Nice view of the bell tower from the window.

Going upstairs was quite risky and dangerous, I was aware that the room was built into the palace walls but I didn't expect the staircase to feel ancient as well. It was very scary going up and down the staircase especially with a large piece of luggage. The room could be better, the furnishings were quite tacky (the overly erotic art on the walls weren't too tasteful) and a bit dated. We also noticed that the gas stove was left open by the previous guest but thankfully it didn't leak. The room is teeny tiny (it was quite difficult moving around in the bathroom) but this is quite understandable as it was built into the old walls.
