The staff was super friendly and spoke perfect English. It was very close to Kyoto station making traveling around very easy.
The bathroom was a bit cramped and I kept smacking my head on the wall when I would go to sit on the toilet, but that’s probably just a me problem.

The location
Almost everything: the room was not dirty but neither clean. The bathroom is very outdated - the small bathroom sink is inside the shower, so if you had a shower before cleaning your face you’ll get wet again.
The futons are thin and the pillow they give you is kinda hard. Also, the ac does not work properly so it’s very hot in the room.
