Quite good hotel to stay in Kyoto. Not too far from train station.
A bit old and we had a problem with a fridge - our food was frozen fully, even though it was located not in the freezer part.

This was my best stay in my three weeks in Japan. The hotel is right next to the train station but you would never know it as it was so quiet. No train noise. The staff were wonderful and I enjoyed the free amenities. There are convenience stores nearby for snacks and the bus terminal is right downstairs

Just a little bit away from Kyoto station, about 10 min. walk, and away from crowds, the area is in a nice residential area and a bit more calm. The room is spacious and clean, good value for the money. There is a local bus stop in front of the hotel as an alternative to subway or trains going around the city. Public bath with sauna is nice to relax after a long day. Friendly staff and small but nice selection at breakfast buffet.
About 10 min. walk is required from Kyoto station, however short, it is a schlep with a suitcase, but too short for a cab ride.
